Missing hands and feet from men

As the title says, now I know this pretty much has to be a SOS issue. I've initially was missing the penises as well, but I've dug a bit into the SOS forums and found out that a skin texture fixxes that problem and sure enough, with the Vitruvia skin textures, the penises are no longer a hole, but the hands and feet from men are missing. I've tried every combination of reinstalling and load order shenanigans of XPMSE and SOS and the issue is still persistent, any help appreciated. (Pic for reference)

Assuming you are using the SOS body - did you build the hands and feet in Bodyslide?

 

A skin texture did not fix a missing schlong.

I mean, I just hit batch build on the following preset, so if that's the issue then I guess I didn't? I can't find the SOS body hands/feet here, unless I'm blind and somehow missed it.

How do you expect to find SOS hands and feet in CBBE? SOS and CBBE are two completely different bodies from two different mods. One is a male body and the other is for females.

I mean that makes sense, but I can't for the life of me find them anywhere in bodyslide and no, videos aren't helpful, since they all pretty much show just working on CBBE presets/editing those, instead of switching to male bodies, so yes I can see the issue, but not the solution. I really wish it was as simple as choosing from the drop down menu, which is all that's shown in those videos.

You can find them in the SOS folder. Open and extract the zip file into another section (e.g., Downloads), browse the various folders compatible with your SOS installation.

E,G If you have installed the Bodybuilder version, you will only need those folders.

Open Bodybuilder, copy drop into Skyrim Data 

 

Depending on the SOS model installed, the process remains the same.

That is not good advice. If he is using MO2 he should not be dropping anything into his Data folder. If he has installed SOS correctly then the feet and hands will already be installed correctly.

The user's problem is with Bodyslide.

Did you look in the 'Filter Groups' dropdown on the right?

 

I use HIMBO but SOS should be similar.

These are all the groups that I have, from what I have checked them none of them are SOS, so really unsure what's the issue. Could I have somehow installed SOS incorrectly, even though the schlongs themselves work fine?

And yes, I am using MO2.

As far as I'm aware SOS doesn't have any BS components. My understanding is that that's the main reason why people switch or want to switch to HIMBO.

 

If I were you, I'd inspect a handless and footless NPC with More Informative Console. See what it has to say about the foot and hand armor pieces, and where its expecting to find its meshes and textures. Query your mod manager to make sure these all exist. Open the meshes in NifSkope to make sure they're sane.

Possible but are you using the correct SOS for Vitruvia? If you aree using SOS Lite then you will more than likely have other problems with it. It's long been obsolete as far as I know.

• Uninstall regular version of Vitruvia  completely.
• Download  "Schlongs Of Skyrim Light SE" from loverslab - Here and install it with mod manager.
• Download "Vitruvia - SOS version" , install with NMM, overwrite all files when asked.

Not related but do yourself a favour if you going with CBBE 3BA uninstall all that UUNP and BHUNP stuff.

In fact, you should already have them. I have been using SOS for years and have never encountered the problem mentioned.

Never needed this step with SOS , but with other body replacers (TNG/HIMBO) i do.

I may be repeating myself, but those who use MO2 have more problems than others. Is it possible that they never use a guide for proper installation? Yet, there are guides here, just ask. Since no mod manager has been mentioned, my suggestion remains a valid alternative. Otherwise, dear user, uninstall SOS and reinstall it more carefully. 

 

They do everything their own way, install everything and anything without testing anything, and then, puff , problems appear.

Tried the other Vitruvia version, tried even other texture mods for males, none of that worked. Tried HIMBO and built it properly as well, didn't work. Also, using regular SOS, not light and the regular SE version is the only one that at least has the penis, the others don't even give me that.

It's confusing but there is no separate feet texture, it's included in the body texture. 😀🤷‍♂️

 

I'm not sure where SOS is up to these days but you need to be sure that the version of SOS full you are using is the correct one for your version of Skyrim - v1.5.95 or v1.6.xxxx. Saying LE, SE or AE isn't accurate enough.

 

Have you tried with no male texture or with a different texture?

Alright, yeah that helped, I figured the issue out, it's definitely one of the TAWOBA mods, so I just uninstalled all of them and I have hands/feet/penises for men. So it's definitely one of those, but I've learnt a couple things here thanks to that.

So, thanks for all the help. I'll see on my own if I can get at least one of the TAWOBA mods working without messing things up like here.

Isn't the mod that adds bikinis to men a separate thing? It's certainly not a part of the version I have installed:

TAWOBA REMASTERED 6.1 CBBE SE

 

Edit: Note tho that this version has plenty of issues of its own. I've basically rebuilt this mod from the ground up at this point. Cross-dressing men never was one of them though.

MO2 - Data tab- meshes - actors - character - character assets

malebody_1.nif - hover over whatever you have where mine says 'Bodyslide Output' and it will show further info. 

Presumably yours will say SOS instead of Bodyslide Output. (Your CBBE 3BA should be going to your BS output folder.)

Do same with malefeet_1.nif and malehands_1.nif

 

Is the guy in the image your PC or just an NPC? Is he actually missing the feet or is he just sunk into the ground? Is this every non-beast male? Does it affect the beast races?

I think one of the 3 I had installed aplied to both men and women or SL Survival applied it to men and women(the mod spawns the bikini armours in the world and I can see it having the potential to do some dumb shenanigans like here), either way thanks for all the help.
