Jiggyz Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Hey @AskaProfessional I tried this with my small business and nothing happened. Do I still need my small business owner to be in the CEO career to see any options? 1

Do I still need my small business owner to be in the CEO career to see any options? Hey, the owner becomes the boss automatically when they open a new business. You don’t need to attend the MBA or apply for the CEO position🤓 Employees also are initialized when the boss hires them, just like in real life🤗 And owner can have an affairs with employees There aren’t that many options for small business, I only added interactions that make sense P.S.: If you want to assign your existing Small Business Owner as the Boss, you can add the "OfficeAffairs_IsSmallBusinessOwnerHidden" trait to them and the "OfficeAffairs_IsEmpHiddenTrait" trait to the employees. This should help you use the new features without recreating the business. I will check existing businesses automatically in the next version, but for now, you can fix it this way Edited June 16 by AskaProfessional

Maybe one day you will have some magic to make it happen xD WW is a whole ecosystem and very powerfull platform, it provides a huge amount of functionality that OA depends on At the moment, I don’t see a way to make OA work without WW integration. Thank you for following the project 🤓 I really enjoy developing this mod. Yesterday I spent the entire day testing (playing 😅), and it made me realize I want to keep expanding it even further Edited June 19 by AskaProfessional 2

Get Full time job work for few days and nothing happen, no event, no pie menu.... Mods folder only have ww, mccc and this mod Hmm, that’s strange… One thing to keep in mind is that the boss is generated in a rabbit-hole. If you’re playing an active career, try sending your Sim to work alone once and let them complete a normal workday in a rabbit-hole. After that, check their coworkers list to see if a new Sim has appeared. Once the boss has been generated, you can continue playing normally. Also, if the boss was generated previously (for example, before a mod update or in an earlier save state), that boss may already exist and have different gender preferences. By default, newly generated bosses are created with preferences that match the employee, but an existing boss will keep whatever preferences they already had. If nothing seems to happen, it may be worth checking the boss’s gender preferences as well 🤓 Let me know if that helps or if you’re still having trouble getting the mod to work

The only way that i know this mod do loaded in the game is when i rightclick on the active sims and check the trait list, i do see some the hidden trait from this mod... btw typing oa.help in the console doesnt do anything just blank Edited June 20 by bastionmain 1

The fact that you can see Office Affairs hidden traits on your Sim means the mod is loading and at least part of the script is working. However, if no boss is being generated, no coworker appears, then something may be failing during the boss initialization process. What I find particularly strange is that oa.help does absolutely nothing. That command should display the available Office Affairs commands. If the console stays completely blank, it almost looks as if the script portion of the mod is not installed correctly or is not loading properly Could you please let me know: Which hidden traits you see on your Sim? Which game version and Office Affairs version you are using? Do you have any LastException files after loading the save and sending the Sim to work? If possible, please send any logs or LastException files to: officeaffairsmod@gmail.com You can also enable additional logging with Sims 4 Log Enabler, the log file should include OfficeAffairs in the name. Please send that file to me as well After enabling it, reproduce the issue (send the Sim to work, save, exit the game) and send me any generated logs. That may help identify exactly where the initialization is failing

Failure: 'OfficeAffairs/main' (OfficeAffairs.main) No module named 'NisaK' (ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'NisaK') Because I know there's a NisaK mod, I downloaded and installed Wicked Perversions and it started working again. No more errors and popups started showing up. From my playing at least, it looks like there is a dependency on that mod that wasn't there in the last OA version. Garkman Posted June 23 Posted June 23 Hi AskaProfessional, I love the idea of your mod!. What I would like to know if a boss is generated when a sim joins a custom full time career. Thank you! Cheers! 1

DirtyOldMan66 Posted June 25 Posted June 25 Was testing things out last night. First, I haven't played around with the Royalty And Legacy portion, made Mortimer a monarch, but Bella kept her job as a secret agent. She was the first participant of the Office Affairs mod. It generates a boss, I was surprised. I thought maybe Geoffrey or Bjorn would be the one to call her into their office. It's a cool mod. Thanks for developing it. 1

I am really happy you like it 🤗 Yes, OA generates a Boss automatically when the system does not find one assigned for that career. But you can also assign a Boss manually. It can be Geoffrey, Bjorn, or any other Sim, as long as they are coworkers 1

imari27 Posted July 4 Posted July 4 Loving this mod!!.. anyway I found something weird.. my female sim got promoted all the way then became CEO herself.. now I tried the "offer job" to a male sim and he accepted. then tried "make suggestive offer"(or something, I forgot) and he refused.. I found a new option of "fire uncooperative employees" I tried that and the next thing I know I was the one who lost the job.. lol 1

seraph85 Posted July 8 Posted July 8 This sounds like a lot of fun. What is the integration with WW? Do the dialog options trigger sex? 1
