ninjabes Posted February 14 Posted February 14 The Fun House - Craftable Gloryholes View File Preramble Hello, This whole thing started with me waiting for someone else to create this and after YEARS of waiting nothing ever came from it. As many a great villain said to their henchmen “If you want something done you gotta do it yourself” and here we are. The main purpose was to create a buildable gloryhole for you and your settlers to use, and I originally intended to create my own assets for this purpose(Those are still in work BTW). In the mean time I have decided to give you all an amuse-bouche and deliver a buildable Money Hole from the BarbarousAddon. The money hole is craftable, you can assign settlers to “hang out” in it and its able to be used like a piece of furniture to play the really cool AAF animations from the BarbarousAddon. The best part is you can use it over and over and over unlike the one time, fun time from the original addon. If you made it this far thanks for reading a madmans ramblings and have fun. TLDR: Made it so you can craft the BarbarousAddon money hole and use it as “Fun time” furniture in your settlements. Requirements: AAF to assign actors to the furniture and play the animations Where can you find it? - Its under the first settlement crafting menu that typically houses the quest craftables like the minutemen artillery. Known issues -For some reason creating the collision caused the money hole is able to be picked up and moved by the player. I have not tested if this messes with the functionality of it but you should probably just store it and replace it. -No sound effects. They werent built into the original money hole animations so they wont play on the original money hole animations. -The player plays the sit idle animation. At the moment NPCs will run to the Money Hole and stand near it but dont play the sit idle animation immediately. If you wait in a chair or reset the cell they hop on in the money hole. Developer notes -There currently is no automation built into this. To play the animations you have to use AAF to select your two actors and set the glory hole as the furniture. \ -This was built for and tested on a version of Fallout 4 that has not been updated to the NG or AE version. I have no plans to develop for or update this to support those versions of Fallout 4. If you want to update this for those versions you have my blessing to do so. Also if you want to take this file and update some stuff on it to make it better please go ahead. I'm a one perv show over here working with limited time and I will take any help I can get. Let's make this mod the best we can together! I should also say I work with AAF not NAF or IAF so if you want to make a fork for those animation frameworks go ahead and do so. ninjabes Posted February 14 Author Posted February 14 Hey first off sorry for the black text on the black background, and to install it a mod manager should do the unzipping and install for you but if it doesn't unzip it and place the data folder in your main directory it should put the esp and ba2 in the correct place and put the aaf xmls in the aaf folder. TheShadowHunter Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Nice initiative! If you haven’t tried the Vault 144 Quest mod yet, it comes with several Gloryhole models that would work great in your mod. It’s by the same creator of Money Hole, and he’s already allowed the use of his assets and animations.

At the current time its essentially just another furniture object that utilizes animations from the Barbarous addon quest (you got in the machine, got boned and got paid) but it was a one time quest. I figured it could be reused. I have not yet explored making it like a bar and having the animations autoplay yet, as I am currently in the process of making a bathroom stall style gloryhole furniture with new animations for that. I've also been practicing making animations using the various rigs here but I am literally learning how to animate from square one. Current trajectory for this mod is to add the following stuff in about the following order. -Bathroom stall gloryhole with and without toilet -Animations for stall gloryholes of both variations -Recreational Money hole for settlers to hang out in -Testing removal of gender flags on the "working" side to allow anyone to "receive" -Revision of stall gloryholes to allow Supermutant "customers" -Optional tentacle and canine animations That is all I have on the docket currently, I plan to get that stuff out of the way before getting into anything script/quest heavy. 4

I do believe once fully working, this will be more popular than any bathroom glory holes though, because it fits the Fallout post apoc vibe and humor better Its also more out in the open since in the post apoc the need to hide from public gaze via bathroom glory holes wouldnt exist. So this is the superior approach in my humble opinion as a user. BTW I tried it with a female character (with barbarous continent barbarous add on and barbarous mod file and of your your file active) and could not get into it to use it. I also tried it with a male character settlment boss and put a farmgirl i it that seemd a bit too snooty to teach her some humilty and after assinging a settler girl could not put money into it , to use her. Should I wait for other settlers to use her? So in summary, i can build the object, but its not working either as female worker or as male user. IMHO once this is 100% working it will be a superstar file on here on Loverslab more than any bathroom glory holes, because they are very "now" and this is very "Fallout openpost-apoc sex use" I think it a great idea to allow supermutant customers, as a mod exists to build supermutant settlers. Sorry bout that I should have been better at stating you build it and you can assign the NPCs to get in it and they just wait there. If you want to use the sex animations you bring up the AAF menu and select your two actors and set the moneyhole as the furniture to ply the animation on.

Yes sorry about that the assignment works for NPCs it just takes a cell reset sometimes to have them actually get in it. As far as automatic usage that currently doesn't work outside of an automatic sex mod like rse shenanigans picking it as furniture for an animation to play on. If you want to use it in it's current form then you should use AAF to pick it as a furniture to play an animation on. 1

shroud66 Posted February 19 Posted February 19 I like the concept of the mod but it seems the AAF menu just isn't detecting the gloryhole. By the looks of things the AAF folder for this is missing a Furniture Data Xml. Doesn't it need that or am I wrong? 🤔

Doesn't it need that or am I wrong? 🤔 I just redownloaded it and yeah it is missing that xml, it also looks like when it was uploaded to the lab it took it out of the zip file I had it in for easy installation. Thank you for bringing this to my attention and sorry for the error. I have an update slated for release this upcoming weekend and I will do better QC to make sure this doesn't happen twice. 1

Actually I'm thinking about mod like yours - some kind of furniture type like gloryhole or something like that. I'll make a post later about my idea.

Hope author says yes. I definitely see this as useful for Marcy Long. Question: Will the sex be autonomous or will it have to be activated via AAF wizard? If I assign Marcy to it, will she stay busy in other words without help of AAF wizard? 1

I plan for the money hole to be autonomous via aaf. I've been looking at how snapdragon did the script for the animated tentacles and was able to apply that script to a craftable gorilla that roams the settlement and bangs anyone who gets too close. That script works on the actor but I don't see why a few lines couldn't be repurposed to detect if someone is in the hole then grab any male actor that gets too close and starts an animation. That is a little later down the pipeline as I'm trying to get other features implemented first to flesh out the mod prior to adding that functionality. 1
