if it wasn't for the cut scenes you wouldn't even no what the story is about! and there is a good amount of gamaplay

 

also you do realize MGR is separate to MGS thats why gamplay is different it was meant to be like that   and those giant robots where always in the game hence "metal gear" if i remember correctly its a nuclear weapon it got more advanced in each game  

 

im pretty sure you would be complaining if raiden went around all stealthy not being able to do half the stuff you see him do for the first time in MGS4 but you probably skipped that cut scene.....

How is he not up his own ass? Everything that man "writes" is convoluted and ham fisted to the extreme, to the point where I don't even know if he understands how to make a story not a pile of shit that takes upwards of a half hour per cutscene to tell.

 

And you know, sword fighting with giant robots, while it looks cool, is a shitty concept for a series that used to have Tactical Espionage on the box. If I wanted that, I would watch Super Sentai, and it would be better written by somebody who is not slowly killing the Japanese game industry.

Back on topic, I would love to see the latest Ys IV remake on the PC. And Ys Seven. For whatever reason, I've always found Ys games to be more fun on the PC, if a bit weirder to control.

People saying that MGR or MGRR are hack/slash is factually accurate as the MC only uses a  Katana sword. This doesn't however make it a bad game in any way, It takes more skill to use a sword then a gun and Grey Fox also used just a sword.

Did you guys not use the box/drum in MGR:R? Or is it just me? 

If you tried playing on the revengeance difficulty, using stealth to shank everyone in the back/head is a necessity when even a lowly gekko can one shot you..

Not even mentioning the sale on rocket launchers that suddenly happens after picking that difficulty.

 

I think i'm in love with this game, i can't stop playing it.

 

 

I would give my soul for all Metal Gear games to be on PC, i still have my copy of MGS for ps1 even though my ps1/2 have long gone.

Definitely this!! It drove me nuts when they shut down the MH servers then released all the other games on different consoles or only in certain countries (one of them was only released in Japan). I'm sorry but I'm not going to buy a new console or handheld every time the bring out a new game.

Capcom needs to port the original Dead Rising to PC. I bought both Dead Rising 2's (PC) because I wanted to see the difference between Chuck/Frank West. I played Off the Record before the original and barely went about a third of the way through the other (I hate having to run around collecting Zombrex for Chuck's daughter). DR was my first 360 game I think, back when the fucking thing still worked and it seemed harder than DR2. I don't even want to play 3 because of how bad it was. Did anyone ever play RAD on PS2? It's a mech game where you have to control each body part independently with different buttons, truly it was the Octodad of the PS2, shit controls, but it was fun to play with other people. I know this sounds out there, but I want PC port of Katamari Damaci (so we can mod the shit out of it and make it more absurd then it already is.) All the old Megaman games would be nice, but that will probably never happen since Capcom shat all over the IP.

Dead Rising 3. I am so sick of all the good games being exclusive. I don't want to buy a console that I'm only going to use for one game. I made that mistake with the 360 (and it eventually just fell apart anyway, because Microsoft hates me ).

I'd love to see all the Devil May Cry games ported over with widescreen support of course.  Oh and the remake of Resident Evil 1.  Mail mentioned MGS3,  but I'd really love MGS4 on PC.

 

It bugs me that some of the games in these series have been released on PC and others haven't.  Some were shitty ports,  but with a few tweeks they blew the consoles versions out of the water.
