Pragmata Mods Discussion

Have you guys tried the demo yet? What do you think will be the over under on Pragmata mods? Do you guys think the modding community will take to Pragmata? It's built on the RE Engine, and it runs really well, at least it did on my rig. So that's a good sign. I'm curious to see what you guys think. What kind of mods would you all like to see made for this game?

I just need a mod that changes the girl into Arisu from Blue Archive and the game would be complete for me. (Robot daughter, it was meant to be!)
Am downloading at the moment and am excited to play based on the gameplay I've seen and, being a capcom game, hope there's a good amount of fun stuff to kill time on the side or endgame to keep replay up when full release drops. (not live service, but some trials or fun side activities etc)

Side note: really funny that you can't have a game with a little girl without having the tards flip their shit over it. The steam threads are a cesspool right now

 

 

EDIT: Finished my first demo playthrough: fun and Diana is very cute. Performance wise is stellar running at pretty much all high at 1080, even able to run RT on my 6750XT without Frame Gen and still maintain 60fps but would need to edit down some settings to stop the game hitches that occasionally happen which tbh are not worth the trade in lighting since the game without it already looks amazing and didn't even hit 75% GPU usage. Can probably take bumping it up to 1440P without issue, but needs further testing. I would not expect less from a RE style game as those ran great even on the 6500XT that came with my PC when I bought it.

Ooo, I don't know the character but she looks cute, I'm more of an Azur Lane / Nikke person myself. I agree with you though, I'd like for there to be lots of extra content that helps develop the relationship between Hugh and Diana. I love narratives like this, The Last of Us, The Mandalorian, there's always something so deeply personal about them for me.

Of course, you can always make mods for this character that are NOT affected by the P18 age restriction - there are even dedicated forum sections for this in TES or Fallout.

Pretty sure OP and anyone else is aware of the guidelines in a Forum they post in. It doesn't mean there can't be cute non R18 outfits suggested or made.

 

The game's character apperance will already be a landmine in normie areas of the net, let alone modding communities who want to have the best reach for their mods without getting attacked for hosting mods that don't appeal to the norms of the dying "MoDeRn AuDiEnCe".

The mythical audience that game devs and general twitter users target as the reason for censorship and dumbing down of any media for the sake of their "right think".
The people this actually means are those who detest anything having to do with a man as lead, call any depiction of a smol or child character as pdf bait, and harm the gay and (rest of those communities) by pushing their idea of normalcy into all media through activism instead of letting it happen natrually, and don't even interact with the medium they are invading (you may also know them as tourists). You can see it in the steam forums for Pragmata as an example where rather than talking about how the gameplay is fun and the character interactions are cute and wholesome (Or doing the Blue Archive meme of "uohhh" cause loli lmao), they immediately call for it to be removed cause its "bait" and basically self report acusing the players of being pdfs.

I'm going to be honest, I am kind of doubting that there will be much to do after the story as this it seems that this is more of a side project from what i've heard from some vids talking about it and is releasing at basically $60 in the day and age of $70 releases. Then again, E33 came out at $50 so who knows, maybe the devs will surprise me.

It's going to be a pretty stacked set of months tho and really worrying that Capcom decided to release this after 2 of there biggest titles. RE9 in FEB and MH Stories 3 in March.

If this lands, it will be the most amazing 3 months of back to back banger releases for Capcom.

Back to the mods part of the topic, Nexus already has a segment opened for the game now, I just hope they don't have anyone who gets instantly triggered over giving Diana a skirt (as an example) given its history. Though I think if anything someone will probably just first try to add back the alpha/beta build version of Diana's outfit. They added this odd mesh that makes it look like the jacket had custom holes punched into it in order to, I guess, avoid upskirts despite the fact that she was wearing proper spats in the reveal and the jacket is fucken huge to add her cuteness. The jacket now to me looks like it was made for the purpose of microwaving a burrito that was instead converted into a jacket so that Diana wouldn't walk around in just spats and probably a form fitting shirt (I'm assuming lore wise that she was probably made with a gym/fitness like uniform in mind to give the bare minimum of clothes since she's just a robot like in most sci-fi media involving humanoid replicas)
The mods may be quite limited if they are moderated just as strictly (not that you cant make a good outfit with pants and jackets either). The outfits that come with the deluxe set are already a must buy imo, really cute, and the Samurai Set for Hugh is awesome. Hope its separately selectable and not just a set selection.
