oruda Posted December 9, 2025 Posted December 9, 2025 Is there any mod that allows you to have a human pet, making it behave like a trained cat or dog and crawl on it's four feet when you go walkies and do other pet-related things with it?! Basicly some1 just had to make a mod, that replaces a (animal) dog with a human sim, but i guess that sounds easier than it is?!
Oops19 Posted December 12, 2025 Posted December 12, 2025 the walk style will be the issue - there is none and creating a new one is a pain when one doesn't know what all the parameters mean which are used to process the left and right animation clips to make a smooth animation. With Devious Desires you can have a pet and leash it. but it walks on 2 legs as there is no suitable animation.
wongfoo2003 Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 The only pet style walk in the sims 4 is the werwolf run on all four at the moment. You can add this walk style with the https://modthesims.info/d/645514/walk-amp-swim-in-style-in-game-walkstyle-chooser-v2-0-update.html if you don't mind your 'pets' rushing around always. And you need the werwolves pack. Â
Oops19 Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 This only works for large distances. This walk style is not applied for short distances - there the sim is walking normally. I even slowed down the speed so they 'walk' with the same speed as humans ... but this slow-mo walk fails while leashed.
wongfoo2003 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I found an old animation that may be a base for a new crawling animation.Papi_CrawlingAndCurling_Animation.package
wongfoo2003 Posted April 13 Posted April 13 (edited) After a long search i finally found the crawling animation by modella i was looking for. It's part of her bofine set and was shown in her cotton eye joe animation video. If somebody want it send me a PM. I hope it's okay with modella if i share it here. wongfoo2003 Posted June 15 Posted June 15 If you want to see the animation you can use the pose player. But it needs a little work to be useful for petplay. It sinks a bit into the floor,
