Any plans of changing the nerf for the adult teens. My teen adult sim play through got smoked by the latest update as the save I was doing no longer has the options to play through

Hi, I've been having an issue with the game crashing a few times. I didn't have the issue until I added this mod to my game, and I don't have many mods (gameplay wise WW, basemental, Nisa's WP, Regency Romance and RPO, that's about it). I tried to hold a funeral, the game crashed. Tried again, managed to hold it, after it ended I tried to move my sim with her half-brother and their dad (they aren't romantic yet but he's trying to convince her, both teens), game kicked me to manage worlds, tried to move them into a new lot from there, game crashed again. For now I will remove this mod and if it doesn't happen again wait for the next update. It's a shame since I will have to change my plans for the two teens now.

 

Edit: removed just this mod, no more crashes.

I got an Exception yesterday, thought I should report it. 

 

Better Exceptions points out: VampireDoughnut_ExpandedIncest_1.2.1.ts4script\VD_IncestIsTabooMod.py as a possible cause for the error.

Editing to add more information. It happens when trying to add incest traits using the pie menu. More infos given by Better Exceptions. I don't really know what's useful here...

 

The txt has the first last exception I got this was the second one, formatted by BE.

I just came across this mod and it works great for the storytelling I'm doing. One additional feature that I think would be particularly useful is to have a secret/scandal option available for incestuous family members who are part of a dynasty/noble career. Not sure how involved that would be or if better served by a separate mod. Just wanted to throw that out there. Keep up the good work!

After I switched to a completely new household my sim has been getting incest-related moodlets even though they're not related in the slightest. The Incest trait also keeps getting added to multiple sims' traits as a store reward even though I never bought it. 

 

I don't know what else could cause it so I wonder.

is it not possible for an obsessive sim to develop an obsession on a teen sim? im trying to get my adult female sim to develop an obsession on her teen son (both have the incest trait) but the obsession pie menu isnt coming up when i click on him from her perspective. im wondering if its a glitch because everything else in the mod seems open/available to teens and older, so it's weird that this would be closed off. is this a bug or a feature? is obsession limited to adult sims only?

i used to have only the options for discovery with siblings and eventually got the option for the sims to agree with having sexual contact from now. after clicking that, the discovery interactions were removed and now i only have "tell incest joke", "opinions & morality", and "actions..." when i click one of the sims with the other. i still have the normal romance interactions from vanilla, but the ones that are supposed to come with the mod just aren't there.

 

it's so frustrating because i remember getting more interactions from this mod before, and it was working just fine until now. how do i fix it?

 

update: i just found out that no matter how much i make them do romance interactions with each other, the romance bar won't go up unless i cheat it with mccc

Hi, I cannot figure out how to unlock more social interactions between sims. I'm only seeing the "discuss ethics of relationship" and "assure _ that you will always be there as family no matter what" interactions.

I checked the sims' family trees/relationships in CAS, and they are no longer marked as related, and just as partners. Does anyone know how to fix this?

That one I think is an EA glitch if I remember correctly. Pretty sure I've seen people who don't use mods mention that issue (or was it vice versa?) on facebook groups. The creator of this mod appears to not have been on this site since May so possibly had life events come up? Hoping it's just that and not given up the mod.

I managed to fix this by downloading this mod that forces the game to set parent(s) for a selected sim

It originally did but the creator took it out as he felt he was struggling to get the coding right or something like that. Who knows, maybe it will come back once he feels more confident with it.
