tastybob16 Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Hi this is my first time posting anything really I'm sorry if I may not even be in the right place to ask for help here, but besides that, I've seen plenty of people use this mod (successfully) and well obviously I didn't have the same luck. Basically, I downloaded the UNP version of the DF-t33 boots here: http://modtype.doorblog.jp/archives/30577555.html and I have the latest patch, hdt, skse, and nmm. I loaded it, and right when I get into the game, I console command it, receive it and when I put it on, the mesh is all there but it's entirely just a shiny white texture, as if the original never loaded in. So does ANYONE else know of this issue and/or how to resolve it? Pictures:
-alpha- Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 The mesh isnt pointing to the texture path. This can be corrected in Niffskope. Theres loads of how to's on linking texture paths.

Okay thanks, is there a chance you could point me in the direction of any of said how to's? I have Nifskope but really have no idea how to use it.

Sorry alpha, that's not quite correct . . . The boots are so high poly count, that on some systems the texture doesn't load correctly The fix is to add the boots to the favorite menu and only equip them through that menu (most setups the "Q" key), this frees up the ram from the main menu to load the polys and large textures for the boots (the textures alone are between 10 and 20 MB) Try that before messing up the texture paths
