assassin394 Posted November 23, 2025 Posted November 23, 2025 I know that animation will not automatically line up with furniture unless you use mod like Furniture Sex Framework. But I'm pretty sure bed animation does actually line up if you have "Ask for bed use" checked in Sexlab MCM menu. My problem is with or without Furniture Sex Framework. Both character will start the animation standing on the bed like its flat ground. The animation play fine. Just not lined up correctly. Anyone how to fix this?
anjenthedog Posted November 27, 2025 Posted November 27, 2025 (edited) Probably the only practical "remedy" is to check the fade option in SL's MCM and keep your fingers crossed the fade won't bite you on scene exit by not fading back in afterwards. (something it *used to do routinely a few years, and has kept me from using the option since). As to why they are, I think they're placed *on* the bed to establish a ground plane for the scene, so the animation doesn't end up being performed on the floor below the bed (which it would probably do otherwise) Edited November 27, 2025 by anjenthedog

Considering this is intended behaviour, what you're looking for is not a fix but a change. sslThreadModel.CenterOnObject is most likely the function where you need to find a new position for the scene center. Once that is defined, you could perhaps do something with the SexLabOffsets.json file to avoid having to create new animations (or edit existing ones) for your new animation center. See ".bedoffset".
assassin394 Posted June 24 Author Posted June 24 (edited) Bump. Its 2026 and I still hasn't' figure out how to make bed animation align correctly. Sometime it work but very rare. Like 1/10 time when I start the bed animation it will work. How do people even use those invisible furniture? Manually line up everytime use sexlab alignment feature? Edited June 24 by assassin394

Yes, and for me it's like a USB connector: there's 2 possible orientations (do I face the bed or away from the bed?) and somehow I still manage to pick the wrong one every single time.

That may actually explain why it does not work, because statistically (or so I've heard) end user will try/fail at least three times before finding proper orientation of USB connector while trying to insert it into the port. So something does not add up in both cases, and that is the culprit IMHO ; )
