This is a backup of Deep Deep Space, originally on the Nexus. It has been removed by the staff for a unknown reason, I'm uploading this here as I've been informed there is some demand for it. Please note I am not the Original Author, just someone who likes the mod and wants to preserve it. If the author contacts me and wants it removed I'll take this down.

 

I may post a local version I've been tweaking to take advantage of the Tankbound civic And the Psionics but that'll come later if I decide to post it at all.

Tried with just UI overhaul mod and this mod. Turns out this mod is simply a species portrait pack of nude women. I assume the removal from Nexus mods has something to do with the fact that the art is completely AI generated.

I sent an email to support@nexusmods.com to ask why the mod was deleted.  It should not have been any issue with the content being AI-generated, since AI-generated content has been allowed on nexusmods for a few years, and the mod plainly stated that it was AI-generated.

 

Quite frankly, the mod being deleted by a member of the nexusmods staff without any reason given is stupid, and it makes me want to start a competitor site to put them out of business.

They got ride of all the main adult species mods from nexus. Not just this one. Seams to be a targeted attack against those types of mods with that game

Nexus Mods has become overly censorious in recent years, and this is sadly consistent with their displayed behaviours.

Nexus moderators got back to me.

 

Guessing that they thought some of the races in the mod were childlike, and then they took the mod down and issued a warning, only for the guy to upload it again.  I don't know, as I had not ever noticed any portraits that appeared to be childlike in my own opinion in this mod.  Maybe I missed them, or maybe I have a different perception on some certain image.

I haven't looked at the mod yet but frankly the guy is probably one of those weirdos that can look at a drawing of a full grown woman and say it's underage, frankly there is more of those nut jobs popping up all the time now.

There's no need to personalize this. The removal of this mod isn't some isolated incident where one could say the moderator misunderstood something. This is now the platform's systemic policy. The 400-pound pink-haired activists, also known as the Social Justice Warriors, are now in charge. Everything the mod community has created, all the years of work, will be destroyed and deleted. Run, you fools.
