PSQ PlayerSuccubusQuest for Sexlab

if this is a quest mod then how does one start the quest?

 

Quests are used to run scripts, you don't necessarily "see" the quest in your log. Most of the scripted mods you install are ran using hidden quests.

 

The quest which handles vampire status is "PlayerVampireQuest", which is where the name of this mod comes from.

So I have everything installed but I can't feed on people. I can make out with em, but when i go through the feed menu nothing happens

ok I don't know where the problem could be for you then, I haven't had any problems with psq, even moved my ssd to a laptop with less memory then reinstalled psq again and still works when I come back to normal

PSQ is just calling an animation. If animations aren't working with PSQ but works with other mods, there is likely an output to your papyrus log.

PSQ is just calling an animation. If animations aren't working with PSQ but works with other mods, there is likely an output to your papyrus log.

Do you have additional filters set up in sex lab? And you're sure sexlab is working when triggered through other mods? "Failed to claim an available thread" is usually a thrown when SexLab is not "installed" to your save or something is broken.

 

If SexLab is working through other mods, try doing a reset of the animations, and reset options to defaults. Although the best bet would be to test it on a fresh game. Install SexLab, and then enable PSQ, and try activating through another mod and through PSQ.

PSQ does a search for the keyword you selected when you started the feeding. The tags are basic so it shouldn't be throwing that error.

So where should the animations be located?

 

SexLab comes packaged with quite a few animations already. Enough for almost any standard tag that a mod will ask for. You can force a re-load of the animations through the MCM.

 

Make sure you've ran FNIS at some point after installing SexLab as well, otherwise the animations won't be found.

 

 

I have 2 questions. What exactly is the porpose of Succubus Level, and How do I meet this succubus merchant?

 

Succubus level is used in several places in the scripts. It modifies your drain, energy total, jump, seduction strength and several other buffs. I don't believe there is a succubus merchant anymore. I can't open the ESM on this PC but I don't recall it being there, fairly sure that was from PSQ2.

regardless of whether its initialization error or not, the mod in the first spoiler is broken --- any mod that spams that same spoiler repetitively for 90% of 120k log is either bad luck with installing it Or just a busted mod

is this compatible with marriable serana? because they both edit the same quest script from dawnguard.

 

edit: also, i just started using this mod and know in past versions that you couldn't be a hybrid vamp/were and succubus. but in the mcm, there is a setting that says "allow hybrid". does activating that allow hybrid with vamp/were? 

 

edit: nvm. i turned on allow hybrid, became a succubus then became a vampire and it works, werewolf too. but its important the correct sequence is followed. succubus -> vampire or werewolf. also if using the vampire lord/werewolf hybrid mod. then it needs to be
succubus -> werewolf -> vampire lord.

yes. read my previous post. i use BV and theres are no issues. note: because both BV and PSQ add buffs, being a hybrid can result in you being very over powered. it might take some time tweaking the buffs in PSQ(BV's buffs can only be changed a small amount) in order to balanced the game. my personal setup it that PSQ only gives small buffs when satisfied, but big debuffs, when horny. this means you can't simply ignore your succubus needs, but it also doesnt make you super overpowered when fully fed(or fully starved) and satisfied at the same time.

I found that the face for my PC still gets messed up when transforming to a succubus and back.  There was a fix for the old version, and I applied it myself to 3.2.  If you need it, it's here.  It allows you to transform and keep your original head using original textures but you can't use the custom textures for you head that you have in the PSQ folder.

actually the fix is already built into psq3, there's a toggle for changing bodies in the psq mcm that can disable using alternate skins in succubus forms or if you enable you need to have meshes in the succubus folder And the human folder

I have the proper meshes and textures in the right directories.  I was sure I read that at least one other person was having the same issue in version 3.X of the face getting messed up and having to go into racemenu to fix it.  Maybe it depends on what race you are using.  I happen to be using the Succubus race from Nexus.

i'm using succubus race as well, but i'm using the original succubus light - don't know if it makes a difference in this

the newer horns are better, but the original face was better so I stuck with the original

 

looking at the folder/files structure there shouldn't be any difference between the 2 succubus race versions

I would recommend trying 1 of the working psq3 transformation packages and copy the skin you want over the skin in the package - that's how I configured mine, works, but as I typed this I also had to dig into my psq folder - I also have my femalehead.nif and femalehead.tri and femaleheadchargen.tri files in the same folder with the femalebody.nif for both humanbody and succubus body--so it may be that the nif files are assigned to look for the other face parts to go with them, they don't need textures, they only need the other body parts they were assigned in nifscope
