Rijeka avg precipitation 1552mm. That's a lot of rain for such a low elevation.

I’m aware. I’ve visited family there many times. For the sake of brevity, most people just say Ireland. At least, people I know.

Not in this country they don't. 

Wasn't too long ago that saying Belfast was in Ireland would get you shot. Even today bad things could happen. Obviously it depends on which part of Belfast you are standing in when you say it.

Up until recently it was illegal for a London Black Cab (taxi) not to carry a bale of hay. These taxis (officially known as a Hackney Carriages) were originally drawn by a horse, hence the bale of hay. 

My grandfather missed out on working on the Titanic but worked on the Olympic (one of her sister ships).
