Lovely Rose Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Anyone watch this before? Im currently on the 4th season XD It actually isnt that bad in small doses XD
flutie Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 That show was funny at times, esp the bald guy and guy with bulging eyes, cant remember their names
Lovely Rose Posted January 18, 2014 Author Posted January 18, 2014 Lol yea its pretty funny. I cant seem to watch more than a few a day.
gvman3670 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Yeah, Colin and Ryan are the backbone of the show. It is good stuff, either in small or large doses. Improv comedy is REAL comedy. Everything's funnier when it "just happens". There's also a British version of the show, and strangely enough it usually has Colin and Ryan on it.
prideslayer Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 youtube search the bloopers/outtakes. Despite it being improv, some of the really funny shit is still edited out..
Nonsense667 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 That show is freaking amazing. I'd say it shaped my sense of humor growing up. Even though my father would always bitch if he saw them making a "dirty" joke about sperm or something. Which is my next point: It is SO WORTH IT to watch it again, if you watched it when you were young. Because I swear, some of the things I missed/didn't get as a kid. It's so great.

Ever see the episode where Richard Simmons was the guest? Man, that was just RIDICULOUS! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIscLaYnECs
Lovely Rose Posted January 18, 2014 Author Posted January 18, 2014 haha i dont think i seen that one yet!!!!
Nonsense667 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Ever see the episode where Richard Simmons was the guest? Man, that was just RIDICULOUS! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIscLaYnECs My "adult self" had not seen it, sadly, only seen it back when I was under the brainwashing of a conservative upbringing and just found the guy confusing, and "knew" that being homosexual was... well you get the idea. :\ Honestly I feel ashamed to even type it. But yes. XD This is exactly what I'm talking about it. Now, watching it, freaking hilarious. All I will say is this: Seattle Washington! Also: Tapioca!
gvman3670 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Yup, I know how the conservative upbringing goes. I grew up on a dairy farm in the middle of nowhere in a very religious family. Scary sounding, huh? Plus I'm kinda' old so when I say "conservative" I actually mean "VERY conservative"! It's easy enough to break away from, though. So all's well.
Nonsense667 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 O______O I just realized something. 1: At a thousand posts now, all I can think about is "One thousand posts!" said in the "one thousand points!" voice of Drew. I'm okay with that. 2: The points don't matter. At all. Yet they still vie for them anyway. I want some whose line points even. You know what that means? WHOSE LINE INVENTED ACHIEVEMENTS BEFORE ACHIEVEMENTS WERE A THING.

Ark of Truth Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 I prefer the US version to the UK one. Unlike the UK one, Drew got involved with everything.
Lovely Rose Posted January 19, 2014 Author Posted January 19, 2014 i never seen hte UK one. atleast i dont think. I only recently started watching it *shrugs*
gvman3670 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 i never seen hte UK one. atleast i dont think. I only recently started watching it *shrugs* It's not "bad". You do get to see some new talent, but it seems the vast majority of the comedians are regulars on the US show as well. The stage is a different color, but nearly the same otherwise. BUT.....the host isn't as good as Drew (at least in my opinion). Drew is funnier and more animated/involved.
Lovely Rose Posted January 19, 2014 Author Posted January 19, 2014 I heard the host was like 10x worse and didnt really "fit" in the show.
