Crossworlds HUB's guides continue to be goated, so now I figured out how to do slime/shield effects, and eye movement is now a thing I can do (no, I still haven't gotten proper face animations). I used @evanburguer6767's edit of Zeena as a way to test this, since it's already using Wave's skeleton (I also needed an excuse to post Zeena). Last thing, Kit will be ready in a week.

well yeah,honesty she should be in the game as well.Having a total mean girl in the cast would make some good rival dialogue.

were in luck! getting some alts made. reminder that since this is an edit that i couldnt ask permission for (that uses assets located on the original mod albeit unused), this mod will have a dependency and require the original miku v6 to work

.....is this a loophole to the permission situation? Cause if so, I feel like a lot of people could get their wish on other characters like surge

If it’s an official model owned by sega, or some other company, edits are pretty much fair game as long as you’re not editing another person’s created model (or edit). I make edits of my own mods when I want to, I just don’t upload them.

the answer is no. the original v6 mod uses a model that is available for anyone to download . this is restoring the panties from the original model, but since the crossworlds mod has an original shader, im keeping that shader with the person that made it. Its not really the same thing as adding nsfw in spite of someones wishes cuz the original had them there to begin with.

Depends on the author still. As you're still making edits to the model they made, even if it needs the original to function. Like SinsAwakening said, if its already in the base game like Miku or Sonic, its fair game. But if its a model created like Surge or Lanolin, you still need permissions from the author.

to use this mod it requires you have the original mod via gamebanana, with the restoration at higher priority

 

(bluestar sucks ass but i recommend it to make doing this like .00001% easier)

I see, I didn't realize it was a public model and I understand the shading situation now.

Mod creator said they'll create a Nexus account later and upload it there. That's still very stupid imo, when mods like Morrigan Rouge and Colacoot's Amy are allowed. It's basically bias to certain mods they like or dislike, when fundamentally, they follow the same principle.
