The conversation about not wanting amy to be super competent and strong in movie 4 just comes off to me as misogynistic cuz if any character was going to do that itd always be amy. Shes the only character of the main 4 that wields a weapon and since heroes has had somewhat of a hotheaded personality.

Yeah, I won't lie. That is just cynical when Sonic movies are generally the first to rectify a character's personality for the better before the games.

Before Sonic 2, Knuckles wasn't like himself in the 2000's. Before Sonic 3, Shadow wasn't like himself in the 2000's.

But once those films were released, Knuckles is back on track to being who he used to be in Sonic Frontiers. Same with Shadow in Shadow Generations.

what a waste of a model but ok, im nothing if not a fan of artwork.

I don't think it's wasteful at all, it just means you don't get exactly what you want out of it.

Also, if all you want from an SFW creation is NSFW content, it really shows you are not very well-rounded, and lack the ability to appreciate certain characters without lewding them up or taking their clothes off.

Be a fan by respecting the creator's boundaries. Respect the creation as it is, not as what you want it to be.

which is why we now have Amy wearing black spats officially and unofficially which is boring and ugly that does not complement her main design at all in the slightest.

Man I really hate the black spats they look so bad

I remember seeing someone give her these frilly white shorts that look a lot better, and I think that's the way they should go

While we're spitballing about Amy's characterization, I'd agree that the IDW comics of late have struck a good balance for her. Sonic's even willing to go on dates with her! That's good progress! It's just that the games' writers were fucking hacks. So it's no wonder that they've turned to the IDW writers to sort things out for the games.

And now, a confession: I'm a spats sicko. I used to be upset about the replacement of panties in games, but then I saw fanart showing how spats can be more form-fitting, skin-tight, ripped open..... I was converted. I'm sorry everyone 😔 (lol)

Overcorrection is Service Games' middle name, it is our eternal struggle as Sonic fans.

I'd be chill with the spats if they were part of an alternate, darker outfit. As is right now they clash horribly and are so obviously just censorship. She might as well have a huge black bar under there.

I have to agree. I'm "okay" with censorship as long as it makes actual sense and works for the character. While I personally hate censorship in any form, if it has to happen, at least make it make sense logically for the character.

The mod is great. She is wearing panties and it looks nice on her.

This is a really great looking Miku model. @Haise Sasaki, would you consider making a lewd version? No skirt for an unobstructed view of her panties, an option for bigger breasts, something of that nature?

You're ignoring the past decade of woke flops if you default to the idea that the opposition to Amy being strong is misogynistic.

No one is against Amy being strong and competent and I'd argue fans of her want that so when she's playable she's fun and not dragged down by her voice lines or such that are changed to specifically counter who she is as a character that we know.
The fear is that it will be done so poorly that it will just result in a Dragon Age Veilguard level of writing for her.

Even when I was a young boy in my "girls icky" mentality of that age I still came to appreciate Amy, specifically in the Riders and ZG games as her sass and aggression on the track were very fun and a breath of fresh air than the Adventure DX one imo while still having her love for Sonic in the campaign. Imagine my disappointment when she's getting fucken steamrolled by EVERYONE in Crossworlds' aggressive banter dialogue. Turned the girl into a verbal punching bag.

We know who Amy is and what she's about and adding growth moments like Frontiers did is appreciated (results of that are to your interpretation, I thought it was ok/fine), but the removal of her love for Sonic and (god forbid) making her the boss queen of the group that is invincible with some future terrible writing is just one generic buzzcut hairstyle away from creating a skin-walker to pass off as Amy.

I feel like this itself is the issue, I think we're too focused on this idea that progressive ideologies are too separate from good writing and for some reason against sexual content. I would consider myself a woke person, but I often times bump heads against my fellow wokesters because the issue is the puritanicals and these guys on woke podcasts and rightwing podcasts that are trying to get us to fight.

You can have a good written character that is sexualized because sexualization is not the same as objectification, and what I notice from people like you is that you don't just want a sexualized character but you also want a good character. But the issue is that we also tend to be too focused on sexualizing a character. I am out here fighting against people like you because you are too focused on the sexual part of it, that you forget that some media that is not sexualizing her like IDW is doing good changes and that woke =/= bad.
And I am out here fighting against the wokesters from my side because they are so focused on being progressive and against objectification that they overcorrect and are out here prosecuting people like transgirls that are into a lot of the same kinks that people in forums like these are into because they think those kinks equal right-wing politics.

I think we need to stop using buzzwords like Woke and focus more on the fact that Sega is just against romance as a whole in this, I mean look at Tangle and Whisper. They are being pushed as being a couple even in games like Crossworlds releasing them together, but because of stupid Sega mandates, they can't be together either.  There is so much that could be done with these characters that because of Sega's mandates, just cannot be done and it's not something that is about the wokeness because if they were woke, they would allow Lesbians to be Lesbians.

I can agree that puritanicals are the problem for your movement. I also argue that your movement is focusing on fictional content which is irrelevant to real life experiences and only intrude on that which is made for escapism and fantasy rather than shaping one as an individual.
I also will put in that your vision of my perspective is skewed on the fact that we are on a porn forum. I will be horney here because its what I'm looking for here. In terms of just wanting a good character: yes. I want well written characters. They don't have to be super sexy, but at least they should be appealing to look at in their own way. Velma from Scooby doo was not designed to be sexy, yet people were attracted to her character for her intellect with clumsyness when she lost her classes, and the horniness came along on the proper side of the fans for older indivuduals or as they got older, just like Amy was not designed to be sexy but we like her anyways and will make horney versions cause we like her design. The woke I refer to in these kinds of discussions are the ones who blatantly tear down a character or misrepresent them for the sake of changing who/what they are rather than building upon them. They try to take an established character instead of creating their own (and the ones who do but fail is because they don't have the experience or talent to make a good/likable character)
