Yes, the demo is currently available for 4 hours as we speak. If our licenses get revoked, you might have to crack it so it doesn't depend on Steam or Epic anymore. 

You'll also need to mod the game that allows you access to the singleplayer menu since the game forces an online connection at the title screen.

There's also another mod that allows you to play more content including more Grand Prix cups with more tracks since the demo only has one cup with three tracks.

(Officially, you could only play more tracks by random on online mode.)

 

The full game releases in over 3 weeks. Until then, I might spend that time getting Amy, Wave, and even Cream nude so by the time the game is out, you'll have nude mods ready for them on launch day. I won't be rigging their skeletons to pre-existing curvy bodies though, it's not my thing and someone else will do that anyway.

I'll be retaining their canonical proportions and create my own body meshes that resemble what they'd really look like naked. It'd be good 3D modelling practice for me.

I never realised just how strict that camera is , even the shortened dresses makes the upskirts rare to see sometimes. hopefully when the full game is out there will be a camera mod to help give us way better shots of the upskirts. (or we go extra mini dressed)

since you already have the panties texture for some of them, can they also have a panties only mod with them? Just asking.

Also that Amy mod is awesome. Big breast looks great on her.

EDIT: Forget about it, Denuvo DRM strikes again!

 

The servers for ONT are now offline and licenses are being revoked.

If you have the build still installed however, you can still play it with UE4SS + All Courses Unlocked.

To save you the trouble, I've put together the files you'll need to continue playing the game:

ONT-Offline.zip

When extracted, place the "UNION" folder and "steam_appid.txt" in the same folder where "SonicRacingCrossWorldsONT.exe" is located.

To play the game, just run the game's .exe file. Once it starts, you should be able to open the console with ~ or F10.

Type "pl_race" and press enter in console, and then enter in "pl_menu" while you're in the loading screen. 

If done right, you'll be taken to the main menu and you can play the demo offline as much as you like.

 

For controller support, add "SonicRacingCrossWorldsONT.exe" as a non-Steam game and enable Steam Input by right-clicking that non-Steam game in your Steam library and select Properties. In the game's Properties menu, select Controller on the sidebar and change the override to Enable Steam Input.

Run the game on Steam and it should have controller support again.

 

Just to make this very clear, this is still very much a demo build. You're not pirating anything.

Content is still limited to what's available in the multiplayer and singleplayer modes when the servers were online.

With the mod, you have access to Grand Prix with 3 cups, Time Trials with 9 tracks (not including CrossWorld), and even Race Park with customisable race rules with only 13 characters (including Joker). Everything else don't exist in the game's archives and you'll have to wait until the full game releases on the 25th.

I sort of like how subtle it is that you could barely see the upskirts, it's like what Sega would've done if they weren't sensitive about that sort of thing lately.

However, I could offer a miniskirt variation in the future (and bottomless version as well). It will also be possible to have a panties only mod once I bare their upper bodies.

I won't be able to test my mods because of that obnoxious anti-consumer DRM.

 

In brighter news though, it's been confirmed that there will be a free singleplayer demo later this month before the game's release.

If you miss the Open Network Test, you still have another chance of playing the game with mods then.

I think this is better, I scaled up his privates by 50% and now you could see it better in-game.  

 

Actually doing god's work here, this is beautiful. Crossworlds is shaping up to have the best nude modding community for a Sonic game yet. Also yeah, I'd say the scaled up one reads much cleaner. (I love that you made it white too, it's fits him so well)

I am hoping we get versions of the nude mods for the female characters that aim to stay on model in terms of the proportions (Like the anatomically correct Tails). I just always preferred mods that keep their bodies the same, just naked. But that's something for modders who want to do it, since I can't, it'd just be nice to have that and the more exaggerated ones available for everyone. Still, happy this one seems simpler to work with than usual for everyone since it's in Unreal. I hope everyone enjoys messing with it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe we call this a "lore-accurate nude mod".

 

However, modders will always choose whatever proportions they feel like, and beggars can't be choosers.

I also want to make some mods for the female characters like Blaze, Amy, Wave, and even Cream as well but unlike other modders, I'm keeping them on-model so no curviness unless it's Rouge because that's her feature.

And because it's Unreal, and it's because it's a time-limited demo that we might lose access after the ONT is closed, I might as well take the opportunity now to relearn how to import custom models to games running on Unreal.

I think I'm about done with the modelling part, I just need to pack the model which means...I need to install Unreal Engine 5.4. Great!

it's a big ask, but could you do a variation for the male characters with circumcision scars? i find them adorable

i think it often depends on the community for the game being modded. stuff like mihoyo games get around a 50/50 split of people trying to be on model versus people who are deliberately going off model. monster hunter i think trends more towards off model. games with smaller communities trend towards on model from what ive seen.

sonic games i think also trend towards off model because sonic characters look pretty identifiable even with their proportions all messed up, and sonic characters not named rouge have conventionally unsexy proportions (no thighs, basically no butts, usually a kind of bean shaped torso)

i will say that i am personally on the side of "lore accurate" even if it doesnt look particularly sexy

I feel as though more people don't particularly care for accurate bodies but rather prefer typical curvy bodies on these characters, especially the female ones.

A lot of the R34 art I've seen of these Sonic characters leans closer to having sexier humanoid bodies with bigger butts, thighs, boobs, etc., than matching their canonical proportions. I mean I still enjoy a fair amount of them that have the right mix of both, but there's much less "on-model" porn of them. Especially for animations.

 

This appears to be the case when it comes to lewd modding Sonic games where modders would rather rig pre-existing voluptuous bodies than actually making accurate nude bodies out of the characters' original models, and the end-users would gladly eat it up.

Of course, there's nothing wrong with that, it's just an observation I've been noticing.

But it reminds me of this dumb trope where the originally cartoony female character(s) are now suddenly more humanoid-looking than the male characters which irks me.

 

Let's not get pedantic over the meaning of "on-model". Anyone who's into that niche understood that it generally means keeping the character's proportions the same while making them naked or anatomically-corrected with genitals.

Exactly!

I might've said this here before (or probably somewhere else) but the whole reason I find these characters attractive is precisely because of their cute bodies, not just their faces. If you drastically change the proportions of a character I'm crushing on, it misses the point for me.

The point is "I think this character is cute, but I also like big boobs", lol.

 

I don't judge, one way or another, but that's mainly the reason most modders add whatever proportions they prefer.

Removed her skirt, welded the top end of her pelvis to her upper torso, moulded the top half of her dress to resemble a bare torso, painted her texture pink (plus an alternative version with a yellow belly), and that's how I made myself a model of what Amy would officially look like if she doesn't wear clothes.

The body is currently featureless as I've yet to add in the fun details, though I could potentially use the model now as a SFW variation of my nude Amy mod.

Before I painted over it, Amy's pelvic region already had the panties texture so it's definitely feasible to have a panties only variation of the mod.

Since Sage wasn't in the demo, you'll have to wait until the full game gets released for anyone to even start progress on such a mod.

I wouldn't count on seeing any progress shared here though, a human character like her being nude would be too spicy for this site.

Even for a panties mod? Assuming she even has shorts connected to legs in the first place. (Totally would have an eggman print on the back, would just be something he does.)
