I don't understand why server moderators instantly have such a power trip about being bigger than others over stuff that doesn't concern the server. Especially with how young the modding scene still is for this game since we are only a week or 2 post launch. You'd think a smart admin of a discord server would think twice about removing one of the people that helped build it to begin with given their mod contributions to a MODDING server lol

I also actually give a shit about game optimisation which is why my edited models' topology follow the game's instead of replacing it with an extremely high-poly model which people keeps forgetting this is a fast-paced racing game with no photo mode where you more often view your character from a distance.

You don't have to replace the bodies with a high poly model to get a nice body but that's besides the point. If that's how you wanna make your mods more power to you.
I personally don't really care to keep the characters to on-model..I mean that's kinda the point of mods.
Imo; I think its kinda weird considering how flat/childlike bodied the characters are and they're not meant to really be sexy(besides rouge) as you said so basically to me....keeping them normal looking and just randomly naked is really unappealing(to me).
Btw my post wasn't directed at you. I'm actually just now seeing your mods that you replied to me and I can see why you think I was talking about you since your mods fit what I don't like LOL also me wanting the characters curvy doesn't mean I have monkey meme brain activated. I just like the characters that are curvy just like how you want to keep them flat and small.

If you want your super-ultra-specific mod done, then try to do it yourself. If you can run the game, you can totally run Blender. It'll do you good to learn a new skill anyway.

Pretty sure it was linked earlier in the thread. Someone had mentioned they were part of it, assuming you arent part of it already. but from what im reading in this thread, it seems like theres a few servers out there. It's just a matter of getting into the ones that understand the difference between fiction and reality so as not to start banning users over content that is "problematic" to them. Its really annoying and honestly on the level of (stalker-ish) that someone would go out of their way to find people in a server that has nothing to do with their own to moderate users outside of their own server. I miss the early internet days where it was a known fact that you browsed at your own risk and understood there were places that weren't for you or had to understand/learn the culture/etiquette that was in those communities.

That's not exactly the "Gotcha" you think it is. I'm trying to figure out how SA2 modding works to a full nude Rouge, I've already made the model. Heck, I'm also making nude mods for Mario 3D World too. Which I couldn't take shortcuts for Peach since her proportions are altered to make her closer to Mario's height.

i would love to make my own mods, but i do not know how to get my models into the game and working. i would need someone to show me how to do that. once thats done, i wouldnt mind taking a crack at some of the requests in here

And this is one of the reasons why I very much value your mods above others for the most part. Yeah, I love curves, dommy mommies and femboys, but I'd much rather the characters have their accurate body for the most part. If it was possible, I'd like it to be more anthro, but that's just not happening in a Sonic game and it would be so jank and awkward to do and make work. That's more for art and animation imo, not an official SEGA game. Plus, oversized body proportions just always look off to me.

 

I'm genuinely glad we got someone like you making these. And I hope you enjoy this enough to keep continuing it and any other projects you make. And I mean this genuinely.

I'm happy we got someone like him too. I have preferences but generally if I like a girl and want her naked I want it to be what her body would actually look like. Even outside Sonic I stop caring if the body gets changed too much. There's curvy girls I like so I want them curvy, and there's petite girls I like so I want them petite. If the body's too different it makes me see them as a bad cosplay or a mascot costume.

 

But that's just what I like. I'd rather just have different people making different mods for different people. The Sonic girls are gonna all have nude bodies that are accurate, so after that might as well have the big thiccy ones for the people that enjoy that instead since I got what I wanted anyway.

Crossroads uses Unreal, so you can look at how modding other Unreal games work to get an idea.

 

There's also a tutorial on extracting models on Gamebanana:

Which can help you see how the files are structured and extract the character you're going to replace.

HE2MP is an online multiplayer mod for Sonic Frontiers and Shadow Generations. I might as well get banned from other servers I'm in that are moderated by the same people. I'm pissed off.
