Miku does not come with the season pass and you're comparing FREE guest characters to paid DLC characters. 

Werehog, Sonic Prime, Minecraft, Spongebob, Pac-Man, and Mega Man characters all have a barrier because they literally cost money to have.

Miku, Joker, Ichiban, NiGHTS, AiAi, Tangle and Whisper (+6 more to come) are NOT paid, they're free because they're guest characters of SEGA IPs.

 

The free characters aren't even DLC.

They've always been part of the game, they're just arbitrarily locked until the game receives a call from the online server that the character(s) can be unlocked.

Yea. Hence why I said yes but no. DLC chars you need to buy, that is a pay yes. But last I recall werehog was a pre order bonus and didnt cost anything to get. Rusty was a bonus for buying the season pass. Rusty is a grey area per say. Werehog is by far not a paid character as you didnt need to spend anything extra to get him. As for Miku I must be remembering wrong there so thats my bad.

but.....those are free. The season Pass is the non-sega related characters, that is why Miku has an overwhelming amount of mods. She's popular, easily the best character to fit almost any female model over, and free.

Knowing Sega, there's a chance that if Werehog ever becomes publicly available, it may not be free.

But because it's not publicly available and currently only for pre-order owners, there's still a high barrier for modding Werehog at the moment.

There's little demand to mod a character that's indefinitely inaccessible to most players.

Knowing Sega, if they sell the characters outside the Digital Deluxe/Pro-order, I imagine the characters will probably be .99 cents to $1.99 if they released them separately. But I don't see that happening until the game is at least a year old. The game has done well in their eyes, so I can see them doing this down the line.

It's funny to me how he is the only one who has his junk out, and it's even one of the earliest mods that this game received that you could find on page 1.

It's too bad I'm the only one who's interested in producing more male mods, but there's only so much I can do with how much time I have.

I suppose I should mention that I don't do commissions and I don't offer them.

I'm not a Sonic-fixated modder; I mod a variety of games, so many mods in fact that I don't really have time to make mods that are tailor-made for specific individuals and would rather produce mods that are of my own interest and release them publicly. I am open to mod/game suggestions though, but there's no guarantee I can follow up on them. I'm also not the kind of person who would just randomly DM people to offer commissions or anything, so be careful not to let yourself get scammed by an impersonator.

Yeah, thought it was pretty sus as I got 2 offers about the Jack the Ripper mod I want added. Got a guy named bigvinney who recommended disc dm addictteddude who is banned for scamming people on Nexus and that Ringoffires guy.

Both of the ones i mentioned had new account or little to no post history, its an immediate tip off to a scammer.
View those profiles before accepting any commission attempts/requests in the future. Hope you can get the money back.

Regarding mod suggestions/ideas, I will continuously be interested in seeing the Sonic girls in Rouge's outfit still fitted for Rouge's proportions, but with their normal body proportions so they can peek out from underneath. Much better if the bones can be figured out in such a way that Rouge's chest piece can bounce up and down, and rotate forward and back for even more peeking.

Another thing just regarding Rouge in general that could be applied to the other characters with Rouge's outfit would be lewd versions of Rouge's outfit. Bikini version still with the chest piece, version with no bodysuit and only the chest piece, and then for both those and her regular bodysuit outfit, a version where the pink of her chest piece is transparent so we can see the boobs underneath. I figure that the transparency would be easy, the hard part would just be having her (or any other characters') boobs modeled underneath in such a way that they don't clip through the chest piece.

This would be a massive red flag off the bat for me. Most people normally use the more known apps like Cash App or PayPal, mainly PayPal.

 

I'd say for anyone concern, always look for red flags in anyone offering anything.

Check their profile and see how active they are and the age of the account. Most people make throwaways to do these things. They always DM, and rarely talk in public.

Never pay upfront or anything similar. Even if they say to pay half and pay the rest later, never do it.

Always trust people with a trusted portfolio. People who commission will never seek others out, they wait for people to come to them. The most they do is advertise.

The reason I fell for it was because they linked the GB account of who they were impersonating, so I didn't think there could be any way they were fake at first, seeing as that GB account has tons of actual original mods and such. They seemed legit. It just took me a while to put the pieces together.

Yeah, I get that. I know how easy it can be to fall for these sort of scams. People think others are dumb for falling for them, until they actually experience it for themselves. That's why I highlighted some red flags for everyone to be weary of. Most notably is the one about people who do comms are never people who go out of their way to message people about it. Personally, I feel artist/modders should always add to their bios that they never offer their services in DM's, especially on other sites.

Many commission discussions are done in private. This way ideas are shared and it isnt public for all to see.

When you start the commission, yes. I meant that they wont message you first asking if you want one directly.
