No, DD SE 5.2 doesn't work on AE, you need DD NG on top of it.

guys i has resolved this problem allready and left all database from dd se 5.2 put esp files has also chandged in databazes by mo2 an all is working now. so we have in loverslab all esp databases which working wish skse 2.2.6. all for mods is availible on loverlabs

This is a DLL incompatibility solved by using DD NG. Nothing to do with esp files or "databases". No idea what you got out of GPT but it was no good.

the main problem of devian devixes 5.2 and skyrim 1.6.1170 is that the dll library could not work with this version of the game and chat gpt helped me to combine devian devices 5.2 and NG using mo2 but for nice and perfect game with basic devian devices we need dd 5.2 cause it have a lot of files for bodyslides now i have both ng and 5.2

I dont now what you mean but priority in mo2 doesent work... so ... you can do like you mean but you will have bug with some quest cause they need database of de 5.2

By the way, my DD installation on 1.6.1170 works absolutely perfectly with MO2 – precisely because I know how to combine DD and DDNG... and I worked that out through my OWN thinking!

You don't need AI to combine DD and DD NG. And MO2's priority does work. You install both mods, enable both mods and place DD NG after DD in the left pane. That's it.

Holy fuck we're so cooked.

And just to be on the safe side, check the date of the active DD plugins—that's when you'll notice an installation error (loading order or something else).

Mo2 is great at doing things like that.

But then I reached a point where Vortex was no longer sufficient for working on mods. Moving mods in the load order is very difficult in Vortex.

So I went a step further and fought my way through the difficult beginnings of MO2 on my own.

If only I had used this guide right from the start:

I managed to install DDNG.. now.. idk what to do, lol.

They "build" the clothing elements with the body slide tool... i.e., they link the "meshes" of the DD elements to their body template.

as other users have already mentioned -> they have to install an additional mod - which requires these DD elements... i.e., equips the player with them.
But that's actually also stated in the description of DD and DDNG.

no no no, i do all of em already and it works like a charm (loads the game without crash and theres MCM menu)

now.. im looking for a mod to have em work well with, im still browsing the forum atm
