Getting a paired animation to work on 2 NPCS

Anyone know of a way to get two NPCs indulge together in a "private activity (ahem)" using Sexlab Aroused as the trigger?  Like, their arousal increases until the level on one of them triggers the paired animation? And rinse and repeat.

 

Scent of Sex does this, but it feels like a giant script-heavy game-destroying sledgehammer to crack a very small nut.  I'm pretty sure I can't use DAR or OAR because this isn't a suitable replacer animation for an idle.   The only other way I can think is by a quest and spell to be fired on the couple but I'd like it to be a self-contained event not requiring player intervention.

 

Open to ideas and suggestions.

Not a modder but you could take a look at petcollar's scripts? It triggers an event when the arousal of npc's nearby gets high enough and the collared npc becomes the target of an animation of up to 5 people.

It's not exactly what you are looking for but the script itself migh give you an idea to accomplish what you want? 

You could also look at SexLife, does basically the same but without a specific target 🤔

If I had to do something like this I'd look at how SL is doing it. Normalize actor scales, teleport and apply animation events to get the actors ready for animating - it's all in sslActorLibrary.

 

Edit: A simpler mod that plays paired animations could be "Slap da butt", but the alignment on that is sometimes off by quite a lot. Maybe merge the ideas from here with the "how to do it properly" from SL.

Hi Traison! Thanks. But you might remember I have scriptophobia and my mind blanks at scripts.

 

I've tossed Scent of Sex back in the game. I got it working last time, but it is a bit of a heavy mod to work with.

Yeah, half the time I post stuff like that it's for future Googling people, other half is when I forget who prefers what approach. A diplomat might say I try not to discriminate. You decide which one it is in this case. 😃
