I tested and eventually was able to get model version 4 on an unpacked mod. Just need to make sure it works in-game when I have the time and I'll share the details. I haven't gotten a modded mdl_version 4 to work in-game. There's a few more things I want to try regarding it but I'm not sure when I'll get to them. That being said I haven't noticed any differences in function between 1 and 4 so I'll likely just leave it be and use version 1 after these last few attempts. That being said if someone knows any functional differences between the versions please let me know. I'm still curious about this.

After learning how to make mods myself with your help and seeing how hard the initial processes are I have even more appreciation for these massive mod packs especially for such a niche series. Estelle's chinese dress and Schera's club outfit with the pasties are my favorites. I can't wait to finally get around to the game itself, haha. I'm content with making an occasional edit here and there though, I just don't have the energy or time to put into full outfits. Would it be okay to modify some of mods in the free pack to include bushy variations or texture edits?

There are two extra variables associated with each texture, and we do not know what they do. For modding, v1 is fine. The most important thing about v4 is the reduced precision in normal and tangent vectors. I believe v4 was specifically made for the Nintendo switch, because it uses less video memory than v1/v2. For mods, this is not an issue (unless you are making giant mods). Really the only time you will want to use v4 is when you MUST use it, for example Ys X CLE release. That game will crash with anything except v4, so we have to stay within the confines of v4 to mod that game. 3

I swear, you outdo yourself each time you make a mod 😆 I love the Kloe costumes, especially the first three variants. Perfect blend of sexy and elegance. I also like how you use the Kai model designs for them. The returning characters from the previous story arc (Cold Steel, Reverie) look great with the Kai models, especially Lapis. She had one of the best glowups out of them.

I had this issue too despite owning the DLC (but luckily I made a backup of the prior mods before I copied over the contents of the zipped file). What I had to end up doing was taking out all the mod files I had placed in the game's directory, making a copy of sora_1st.exe and placing it in the unzipped folder, going through the process of getting the mods I wanted from the batch process, then putting the new "assets" folder in the actual game directory. Not the most elegant of solutions and I'm not exactly sure what caused it in the first place. Edited October 23, 2025 by DIYGuy 1

It should work for payment without needing to use PayPal. @lakovici dont have visa card, and not everyone gonna have it too. so we need other ways of payment.

I made so many outfits before that I felt the more ordinary ones were rarely used, so I didn’t really bother with them. That’s also why I no longer like creating a large number of outfits.
