Can someone tell me where to find the pak files amorrow's instructions indicate the mod needs? They don't seem to be included in the cosplay mod rar itself.image.png.887522b397d9e73547bae4e6db32b53c.png

Those are included in the game.  Instructions here.

DOA set updated to v1.0.2.  Thank you to @lakovic for catching the upside down textures on Kloe!  Her costume went through many revisions (lakovic helped me with the transparency shaders etc).  In the end, I forgot to update my mod folder before copying to the final mod.

New download here.

OK, thank! I didn't take it seriously, I know how to do it

Since I’ve only played up to Chapter 1, I’ve only unlocked Schera and Estelle, so I only got their outfits.

Actually, my favorite is Schera’s V-shaped swimsuit, because it’s just so sexy, and it also has that leather texture. What can I say, I’m a leather fan, haha.😁

Thank you for the kind words, 大佬!  I cannot hope to compare to you, but still I enjoy making mods.  :D  Anyway, I did not bother to publicize the bonus costumes, because they are all taken from my daybreak2 mod (although some took quite a long time to port).

Alright so this didn't work for me. I attempted to make custom tables to see if that would fix it, however t_name.tbl would not update with kurodlc. All the other tables did.

t_name.tbl doesn't update, don't worry.  It is needed for generating the tables properly, but it is not written to.

I just did all the steps for @amorrow28 mod and the costumes arent in the rolent store :(
- unpacked files

- deleted original pac files

- moved unpacked files to root

- made new folder and moved table_en contents inside with kurodlc_make_tbls

- run kurodlc_make_tbls

- moved all .tbl files inside table_en on root sky folder

am i missing something?

Same happened to me, this is how I did it. even if you have the lose file mod that allows you to not have to unpack. you need to do it for the tables

1- Create an empty file and drop the mod's table_en files to that folder, only the ones marked as original

2- Move the Kuro_dlc make tbls to that empty folder

3- run the kuro_dlc make tabls

4- Go to pac folder

5- Unpack the table_en file using the python script

6- Transfer the files from the empty folder to the table_en folder you just got

7- Move the table_en folder to root

8- Delete the original pac

I finally got mine to work. The step I was missing was removing the original pak files, but you said you did that. Did you move the modded files into those folders last?

Posted

Yeah, the loose file mod only seems to care about the 'asset' folder on the main directory. I had to make a separate table folder and place it into the main directory as well. This mod is great, I love that it doesn't mess with the normal outfits and only adds additional costumes.

I believe I did that in different steps, but same outcome. I made a test renaming the english_en and assets folder and game won't launch, so it's properly reading the unpacked folders.

Still I do believe you are on the right track and it's got something to do with my table_en folder. Might delete it and do the process again with that one.

Will try tomorrow morning tho, thanks for the help.

The girls of Trails in the Sky wanted to try out some cosplay, from DOA!  I made outfits for all 4 playable ladies, as you can see above.  There are variations and bonus costumes as well.  Thank you to the legendary @lakovic for the bodies that I used to fit the costume on, which he so graciously gave me to use.  Disclaimer: Obviously I do not own and do not claim ownership of any of the assets used in the making of this mod.

UPLOAD REPLACED with v1.0.2 - upside down textures fixed

Sky1st_DOACosplayMod_v1.0.2.7z 73.26 MB · 277 downloads

Instructions:

I have not found a way to actually make DLC that can be unlocked.  Instead, all the costumes can be purchased from the following shops:

  • Rolent: Rinon's General Goods
  • Bose: Paul Elk
  • Ruan: O'Neil Duty-Free Shop
  • Zeiss: Bell Station
  • Grancel: Dept. Store - Accessory Shop

NOTE: Starting with Daybreak, Falcom no longer has a modular DLC system, so without making your own custom tables, you can only use one mod with custom tables at a time!  Please see here how to combine the tables of 2 or more DLCs using the .kurodlc.json file included in this mod.  It is an intimidating process at first, but will become very easy once you do it once or twice.

Changelog:

  Reveal hidden contents

v1.0.2
- Fixed Kloe's Jours d'Amour textures

v1.0.1
- Replaced missing texture for Schera's Peace Sling

v1.0.0
- Initial Release

Enjoy!

向在前 20 分钟内下载我的模组的人道歉,缺少一组纹理,因此请重新下载。

Will you consider adding a pair of white high heels to this beautiful outfit Estelle in your future MOD? It looks even sexier like Schera's.2025-09-27134256.thumb.jpg.5097e3cf6ff5e27888bd5a30cf491ca1.jpg

I followed the instruction of using extractor.py and creating the table_en but for some reasons now my UI (like the title screen) is in japanese. Does anyone know what might be wrong with my game?

Yeah, I barely notice feet but lots of people here seem to look there first 🙂

Sorry I don’t take requests or commissions! But if someone wants to, go for it.

Any possibility that you are trying to use the .dll mod loader? That’s a known bug of the loader; the author is aware and looking into it.

The costume variety and quality in this mod are outstanding. It’s become my go-to.

Notice
For clarity and easier maintenance, I’m retiring my previous post and recommending this release going forward.

Thanks
Many thanks to Mr. @amorrow28 for the great work.

Okay I've tried a few things and now I figured that extracting :

  • asset_common_model.pac
  • asset_common_model_info.pac
  • image.pac
  • table_en.pac (or the language of your choice)

and then renaming/deleting the pac file will make the UI turns to JP. Does anyone knows how to fix this? I can't get the logic behind why unpacking them would bring out the Japanese UI

I'm using the dll mod but I'm taking a guess the normal image.pac has priority on read, and it's likely japanese UI that's the base (cuz I dont see any file called "image_jp.pac"). I was reading around the nexusmod posts and came across this suggestion:

"for english just unpack image_en and overwrite that into the asset folder "

The UI stuff should turn back into english.

Posted

easiest fix for this is to unpac image_en, copy these files and overwrite at the end of your modding, this will revert it to english with minimal work on your part
