Redressing re-equips armor but not enchants

When SL redresses you after a scene it puts all your armor back on but none of the enchantment effects are active. You have to the un-equip then re-equip any enchanted items to get the effects back.

I hadn't noticed this prior to SL1.35 but in all honesty I wasn't looking.

Common skyrim bug.

Happens with everything that performs a similar and/or the same function.

iirc even vanilla hotkeys do that with gear you have enchanted yourself (been using a hotkey mod for forever).

Edit:

A nice workaround, would be some of the jewelry mods kicking around, that don't use conventional equip slots. Then just set those slots to not strip after enchanting the items. Serverus Jewelry, and Ashara Dragon jewelry come to mind that have items like this.

Alteratively

Fire up the ck, and make an armor item that doesn't use any slot in either of it's entries, thus nothing unequips it unless it's removed from your inventory, and wearing makes no visible changes to your character. Then just enchant that instead of a piece of gear (note: items like this aren't unequiped if you enter werewolf form either).

I am familiar with the vanilla glitch and can play for 80hrs and only have it happen once or twice without SL. This happens every single time with SL.

Thanks for the reply and the suggestion but even though I enjoy the flavor SL adds to the game uninstalling it is becoming the more practical solution. More and more of the solutions seem to be "modify everything else to accommodate SL" rather than the other way around.

Once again I'm not knocking your response and I appreciate the help. Thank you.

I've had that happen before with older versions of SL. But it hasn't happened in quite some time now. Even on play throughs where it did happen it ended up stopping on it's own anyway.
