amorrow28 Posted August 4, 2025 Posted August 4, 2025 Sorry about the cross-post, but I put this in another Celceta thread, not realizing the OP had posted in Off-Topic. Since I don't think anyone will see the post there, I copied it over here. I made a basic* mod for Ys Memories of Celceta (tested with the XSEED Steam release). Ys Memories of Celceta is a Falcom game, from the same folks who make the amazing Legend of Heroes (Eiyuu Densetsu, aka Trails / Kiseki) games. All the mods are ported from @coomi's mods, huge thank you to coomi! Also, thank you to the folks at the Kiseki Modding Discord for helping me figure out how to mod this game. CelcetaNudes.7z Unpack the files into the same folder as Ysc_dx11.exe. It should overwrite two files ({Ys Memories of Celceta}/chr/pc/c002.it3 and c005.it3); I recommend backing up the originals. *This is partial nude mod for Karna and Frieda only. I did not mod NPCs. Enjoy! My other Ys mods: Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana Ys IX Monstrum Nox Ys X Nordics 12
Cutepatatas Posted April 28 Posted April 28 (edited) Can confirm this works on Switch straight up! The only catch is that Frieda appears pretty far into the story. It took me about 9 hours of skipping dialogues just to reach her, lol. For anyone who doesn’t want to grind through the story just to test it on Switch, I’ve included a save file along with the romfs folder path. All credit goes to the creator @amorrow28 for these awesome mods! Are you planning to add more characters? This is genuinely a good game! I really enjoyed it. Hoping to see more mods in the future! And if there’s a tutorial or guide I could follow to try making my own, please let me know. Thanks again! P.S - I accidentally included the translation mod (Since switch only has jap version hence the bigger file size) YS_Celceta_Mods+Save.rar Edited April 28 by Cutepatatas 2

To answer your question, no, I don’t plan on modding this game further. All my tutorials on how to mod this game are here. This game is running on an old version of an already old engine, and requires mesh segmentation to fit the geometry into the game, there’s a tutorial on how to do that on the tutorial site. 1
Cutepatatas Posted May 7 Posted May 7 (edited) Mods and Save are confirmed to be working for Ys Memoire Revelations in Celceta - 01006E0022D04000 Its basically just a complete English version of the game. Same everything, Ys Memoire Revelations in Celceta Mods + Save.rar Edited May 7 by Cutepatatas 1

Hey man, did you convert the textures to itp from dds format or itp? I've been trying to use Cradle for some texture replacement and haven't been able to do it from dds so far. png seems to work though. If you used dds, what settings did you use and what format did you get your textures to before using Cradle?
amorrow28 Posted May 12 Author Posted May 12 (edited) I used BC1/BC3, I’m pretty sure. There are many types of .itp though and you need to match the original type. Cradle turns .png into type 1, bc1/bc3 .dds into type 2 and bc7 .dds into type 3. (there are many subtypes but I don't think you need to match the subtype.) Edited May 12 by amorrow28

Hey again, If you remember, could you explain your exact process for creating a texture file, then what settings you used to save it when saving it as a BC3? I'm still having a bit of trouble, though the textures I'm working with seem to not play nice with texconv in the first place, so it may not be all Cradle's fault. I just wanted to see if I've missed something. Feel free to DM if you don't want to post it here.

This was a long time ago and I made the mod and moved on… my memory is very hazy.
Jinraider Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Well, I just managed to import a texture just by forgoing minimaps (which is what the guide suggests, actually). I think the minimaps were screwing with the conversion somehow. Ah well, got there in the end. 1

Cutepatatas Posted June 3 Posted June 3 (edited) FYI This works on the vita 🤣 I bought a vita just to test it. lol jk. She kinda got oily up close though. Imma try Ys VIII but I gotta figure out how to extract/repack .xai file this time. Falcom sure like to make it harder lol. I barely have any time though I'm just glad they didn't pack celceta like how they did ys 8 and 9. I'll try next month. Edited June 3 by Cutepatatas 3
