Inventory CTD

First off, I'll admit that I'm new to this, so please bare with me.

Anyway, my problem is after I installed all of the mods I wanted, everything current, I start a new game. Everything is fine until my character's hands are unbound and I am told to pick up the equipment from the body. I click on the item an I instantly crash to the desktop. Same thing when I went to my inventory and tried to unequip something. Any help is appreciated.

Try disabling A Matter of Time first.

Disable your sex mods while still playing the prologue.
if present: Disable safety load or configure it's iNi to only work when loading.

 

Actually, it's best to play the prologue w/o most mods. Only the DLCs, the unofficial patches, some SKSE plugins that fix stuff (except safety load), race menues and SkyUi.

After you left the cave, you can enable everything again.

If you use Safety Load by any means, set 'true' in its ini

Neither seems to be working? So even w/o any other plugin except the official DLCs?
Then you better let Steam verify your installation of Skyrim.

Well, this is silly. I disabled everything, verified the install via steam(it said one file was missing), and even launched it from steam.

I think what I did wrong was not launching the game before I started tossing mods into it. I noticed I forgot to do that when I launched BOSS and it didn't see my copy of Skyrim.

Looks like I'm doing a fresh install.

 

And for the record, I have no idea what Safety Load is.

You problem seems to be actor based. Do you have the correct skeleton installed? Re-install it then rerun Fnis.

Unequiping your gear will make your nude body equip, if there is a problem with it, like a bad mesh or skeleton your game will crash. Same when you unequip a npc.

YFNOtaku were you using ygNord for your character? Looks like a skeleton issue to me too.

 

Who have an idea about those fxDustDropRandomSCRIPT errors? I've seen quite a lot of em long before, no idea what's the cause and a fix.

sound like a faulty skeleton.nif. if you use fnis generator for users does it give any error ? and what skeleton are you even using ??

I just got home and reinstalled the XP32 Max Skeleton and it worked.
