I accidentally added that master yesterday while prepping for release. As you suspected you can clean the master and fix the issue. I have uploaded v2.0.2 which fixes this. I also removed v2.0.1 since this was the only change. Leaving it up would only cause some to download it by accident. Edited February 6 by kaxat 2

SES2s are a lot more complicated than "all males are initiators" but you might find that simple rule fits your play style. You might also be interested in making all females recipients. If you wish for others to be recipients than you probably want to revisit that SPID file. Or download someone else preconfigured rules. Keep in mind this mod is a framework. It is not intended to do anything on its own. I wish to know what object the scene was attempting to center on and whether or not it was in the loaded area. I had a similar issue happen once. For some reason the search function PO3.FindAllReferencesWithKeyword(), which returns refs within a certain radius, was returning a ref from a from an entirely different building. I would have to go outside and enter another building in order to load it. When it tried to center on the ref it really centers on the 0,0,0 point for the location, which frequently lacks ground underneath or walls to surround. Honestly no idea why that that function is returning refs from beyond the loaded area. But the entire location I was in was added by an incredibly glitchy mod. So I suspected there might be something strange and broken in the mod. But if this has happened a second time in Whiterun then that theory is probably out. I could probably check returned refs to see Is3dLoaded() is true and only return a ref when that is yes. But I will need to test that. Worth noting those are not errors. They are just log messages. Every bit of what you quoted is likely the mod functioning as expected. In order to tell for sure I would need the full log file. It seems like the player is currently viewed by ASF as busy and thus not getting returned by the search for available recipients. But if you keep playing the game she will eventually become valid again and you will get another prompt. I want to congratulate you one figuring out how to write your own small mod for ASF. It was enlightening to read your journey and see how you puzzled your way from one step to the next. Do keep in mind this if a Framework and not intended to do anything on its own.

I tried adding all females to the inclusion list. sure enough, they do have the keywords in-game. however, unless i add the keyword to myself via xEdit, no sex at all will occur. not with me, not with NPCs. nothing but the same error - or message - about not being able to find an initiator. in a room with a dozen NPCs, half keyworded as Initiator, half as Recipient, it never ever succeeds. So if i understanding your meaning at the end there, without another mod doing something, the _only_ way to get scenes to start with the out of the box is via the random sex? In which case, I can control it to be player-only via not applying the recipient keyword to anyone but myself? do i have that correct? If so, i can find a better way to add the recipient keyword to myself than editing the Prisoner entry directly. that just cannot be a good idea.

Walking around in whiterun, approach box appears. i hit accept. instantly teleported to . . . somewhere? maybe below whiterun? my partner and i then float up into the sky quite a ways, and hang out there in the void. However, the log doesnt say anything that i havent posted above. perhaps i need to increase the log level? if so, what to? this is what i got at log level 50, and later 90. includes one scene indoors where we sank into the floor, and one scene outdoors where we teleported to the void and flew into the sky ASF.0.log actually it seems like I teleport to a strange place whenever a scene starts. Into the floor, into the rafters, into the void. any scene started in a given cell always instantly moves me to some specific point, sometimes quite distant. It is not the worst thing in the world but there are better ways. The FAQ offers a solid solution using console commands. And hopefully the description page also makes abundantly clear that this mod does nothing on its own. If it does not please let me know. I appreciate the log file. I should have been more clear about the logging level. When trying to get more info turn it up to 100. That gives the most info. Preferably turn it up to 100 then save and load that save. Now play the game for a few minutes. There are a few things missing from your current log file that I am keen to know. What version of SexLab are you using? What ref are scenes centering on? That is all in the log file at level 100. Alternatively if you just want the rest of ASF to work and do not care about the new scene positioning feature you could go into the MCM > Location and disable the "Enable preferred spots". That will likely fix your issue. Another thing that might address these symptoms is to go sit in some furniture in a different city like Markarth and try again there.

In the temple of Kynareth, halfway into the floor by the pool. In Jorrvaskr, it actually does put me near some furniture - a chair along one side of the table - but that might be random. different locations don't fare any better. Candlehearth hall for example sends me spinning out into the void again. Sideways instead of down.

From what I understand this is an alternative to sexlife mod. I am on SSE 1.6.1170.

To a mod author I would say: absolutely! The framework can find solo actors. I try to build all features of the to support any number of actors. To a mod user using the example Random Sex feature I would say: no. Random Sex is not intended to cause actors to masturbate. That feature was intended as a quick example test of some of the frameworks features. It was not intended to make ASF a standalone mod. Personally I have little interest in adding to the Random Sex feature. I would rather build new mods that use ASF to do cool things. At present I have no plans to make an ASF masturbation mod. You noted that these FOMODs are "quite basic" and you could not be more accurate. They use the simplest version of the FOMOD standard. Sadly simple causes crashes in FOMOD Plus. The first thing I would do is chime in on the FOMOD Plus Nexus page and tell them you are one of many users getting those CTDs. If you feel comfortable naming this mod then please share that it is the one you are attempting to install. Hopefully once they get enough bug reports they will finally fix. Until it is fixed you can disable FOMOD Plus in MO2. Install these mods. Currently the most popular mod that uses ASF to do sex scenes is SES2. If you do not like the stripping/enslaving feature ASF you can avoid installing all of its dependencies. Specifically the Slave Outfits dependency called SOC. Without that installed you will still find the citizens of your want have sex with people wearing Devious and ZAP Devices, but SES2 won't distribute those devices around. Instead if the player or followers wear them, people will want to have sex with you. Also any mods you might have like Hydra Slave girls that add BDSM actors, those people will also be targets of sexual lust. Alternatively I could walk you through making a very simple SPID file for ASF that causes anyone to have sex with anyone. 1

I get all the options but when I accept I always end up in the middle of nowhere (at the end of the map after going to half of skyrim) and get a nasty lock screen and I cant do a thing. Only way not have to reboot my PC is ctrl+alt+delete go the task manager, select skyrim SE and End task. Update: indoors no issues Edited February 14 by skybird update

If you enable logging in the MCM at level 100 then save and close the game. After that launch the game, go to a different city, and play for a while until a problematic sex scene starts. Then share a copy of your log here. Preferably set the logging to save to Papyrus.0.log and then share that log file. Tell me what minute and preferably second the problematic sex scene started in. The log files log everything with a timestamp. If I know the second I will know which sex scene was a problem and then I can attempt to find out what was unique about it. I suspect what is happening is that you are getting transported to a piece of furniture your previously sat in. But that furniture is no longer loaded. I am not sure why ASF thinks that furniture is still available. I need logs. Alternatively it might be that an item in the local area got marked as an ideal spot for sex. But then something in your save moved that item outside of the local area. So the sex scene attempts to center on it but it is not actually nearby. Testing with the Preferred Locations off was smart. That is one of the few things I can think to try. Unfortunately without logs there is not much I can do. Did V1 of ASF work correctly? It would be a surprise if V1 worked and not V2. The main thing V2 does is add Preferred Locations. Which you turned off. Causing V2 to fallback to the same behavior as V1. You mentioned in the SES2 thread you are enjoying playing around with the SPID rules. skybird Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Right I tried more stuff as while it works to often I dont see the actual action goin on. Turning off the preferred locations didnt work so going back to default option. I have now 2 followers with me who are often having fun with random npc. Thing is when it starts they simply disappear. I have a mini map where my followers are green dots and the dots simply are gone once they start sex. When I then go to another zone they simply reappear like nothing happened. I also noticed NPC-NPC disappearing as I wrote before when I see sex message but once 1 of them I needed for a quest. And what did I notice. He was in the middle of the world map (i saw the quest marker), a dreaded old bug I thought I didnt have anymore. Once they finished whatever they were doing they return to the town. So if I wait long enough they are back at there original position and they can start it over I am now looking at the SES2_scenepos_distr.ini. I dunno if my followers are the shy kind who avoid public sex and that is the reason they vanish. I also didnt check what class the NPC were who vanished but sometimes the guards disappear aswell and they want sex in public so I dunno if one class overrules another class or not. If you do not have the related mod installed then the log file will output a message and move on. Those messages are not a worry. The SES2_scenepos_distr.ini file is basically unused if you disable Preferred animation locations. I think we can ignore that file for now. I know you reenabled those preferred locations. But if I were you I leave it disabled and continue playing without those locations. That turns off part of the mod. Which simplifies debugging. It also turns off 90% of the code changes between v1 and v2. Which brings me back to a question I asked earlier. Did V1 work for you? Like you I am very curious to know where your followers and NPCs are going when having sex. Without logs it is difficult to know. One way might be to run certain console commands. When a SexLab scene starts try typing sqv SexLabThread00 into the console. That will list out variables for this SexLab thread. Note which actors are listed. If those actors are people who just disappeared then look for the variable referencing the CenterRef or CenterAlias. Take a screenshot of your console with the Center in view. Note the ID for the reference, it will be 8 characters long like all other IDs. Then type prid xxxxxxxx but input that RefID instead of the x's. Again please take a screenshot of the console after typing prid... Post both of those here. Typing prid causes the console to pull up extra information on what exactly the scene is centering on. There is a chance it is just one of the actors. Which would be unfortunate because then I really have no ID why they are teleporting away. But there is also a chance that they are centering on some object and that object is off the screen. You could also type player.moveto xxxxxxx and obviously input the RefID there instead of the x's. That will likely cause you to move to the actors and be able to view them having sex. But there is also a good chance you will immediately start falling once you get there because there will be no ground beneath your feet. Or that the actors will have already finished by the time you arrive. You can play around with these console commands and perhaps learn more about where SexLab is centering these scenes. Without Papyrus logs you are in for a very tough time trying to debug. @iKnox You will need a mod like SES2 installed in order for sex to be possible. What SES2 does is it specifies who will initiate sex when they are horny, and who would be available for sex when someone is horny. Two groups of people. Often times a person will be in both groups. If you do not have any mods installed telling ASF who these people are then no one will initiate sex. No one will be available to receive it. Thus no sex is possible. There are some very simple mods that do this. They are just a single SPID ini file. An example one is even included inside ASF_DISTR.ini but you would need to uncomment a couple of lines.
