No available locations

I'm reporting it here beacuase I just can't figure it out.
I keep all my mods up do date, so I have updated versions of WickedWhims, ella noir's flirty fetishes, nisa's wicked perversions, and so on.
The game just worked fine until friday, then yesterday, every time two or more sims try to have sex, both autonomously and directed, I get a notification saying sims are unable to find a good spot for sex on the lot.

Wich is a fully furnished residential lot with 4 bedrooms, and when I get that notification my sims are literrally standing in a room with beds, and sofas, and armchairs and at least two or three other objects suitable for sex animations, not to mention floors, walls, doors and windows.

 

I just don't know what happend, except friday morning I took advantage of the 50% discount EA is now applying to purchase 4 new EP and GP (spa day, my wedding stories, outdoor retreat and get famous), but the issue started a full day after those EP and GP were added to the game, so I don't know if that has something to do with it.

Before I resolve to start a new game from scratch and going one by one trourgh every CC and mod in the mod folder, can anyone tell me what else I could try?

I'm pretty sure the solution is under my nose, but I just can't think of anything.

Are all of your downloaded animations still enabled or have they been turned off somehow maybe?

Does this happen on different lots/saves or just this specific one?

You shouldn't have to start a new game but...

If/when you buy new content the game will also update, if a new update is available that is.

 

WW will sometimes post this notification even when something else is the cause, like sims leaving, or low needs, or children, etc.

Or autonomy just stops working for no apparent reason.

 

My sim just recently went to the Romance Festival with autonomy enabled and my sim would head to the bathrooms all night long to have sex with anyone.

Early in the morning it just stopped even though many npc's were still hanging around.

Got the same message about no location available when I tried to 'make a move' on another sim.

 

But manually I could select the object, pick the sim, and they would go at it just fine.

(I had edited the karoke bar and added a sofa to the bathroom and they'd been using it before).

(Also two toilets also suddenly became 'not a good location').

 

No other sims were in the restrooms either.

 

Be sure to delete your localthumbcache.package after adding new content or updates.

 

Recheck your WW settings too.

I have also been having this issue.  New neighborhood, every household, every gender, but intermittently. It doesn't always happen, but I notice since the release of life and death, which I don't own, "make a move" seems to cancel out very easily.  One sim sitting when the other propositions them?  Cancels out. One on the computer or video game console?  Cancels out.  Sometimes when they're both sitting on the sofa together.  It just seems far more touchy.  And yes, the game is up to date, WW is up to date and installed correctly.  I've double checked settings and other mods.  I don't get it either.  Standing next to the sofa they're used repeatedly for their little interludes and "Uh oh...no good spots on this lot"  But I can directly click on the sofa and select "make a move" and it works.  I'm at a loss at this point.

My male Sim went to visit another NPC female friend at around 3AM and she was standing outside, just got home I assume.

Knocked on door and was invited in and then she came in and headed up the stairs.

I directed my Sim to 'make a move' on her and I got the same message, no available sex locations found.

Figured she was just tired and going to bed so the message should have been: no available sims at location, instead, or something else.

 

I used MCCC Cheats to reset her then cheat to 'make happy' to fill her needs.

Didn't even have to ask again as she asked my sim for sex straight away and off they went.

So if NPCs are busy talking, or have a want/need in their que I think they will either cancel out or just ignore/refuse.

 

More often than not NPCs in a group with 2 or more chatting will ask the player for sex repeatedly and then do nothing.

NPC conversations take priority over WW Sex but it's possible I have another mod causing this IDK.

 

I think when using the object, rather than the sim, WW bypasses some things, almost like a cheat I guess.

 

Plus when WW is first starting out fresh I think it doesn't 'know' all the objects and has to learn them somewhat before it 'sees' them later.

Take your sims and have them use every piece of furniture in the house using manual mode first and it might help.

WW uses both room and object scoring now to pick a location for autonomous sex.

I actually solved the issue that same day without starting a new game, but I just don't remember how I did it.
I think I just restarted the game after removing and reinstalling the newest version of WW.
