OSTIM STANDALONE: Can't zoom camera, attack, or equip things through favourite menu after a scene ends

Load Order

 

Basically after I'm done with an Ostim scene, I CAN still move around, jump, rotate the camera around, and do any interactions that involve the E button or clicking on an inventory screen(talking, picking flowers, opening inventory and equipping something from there). But I CANNOT swing my weapon, move the camera closer or further to my character with the mouse wheel, equip something through the favourites menu (even with a click, the way it does work if I simply open inventory and then do it). 

 

The issue resolves itself if I save, exit to desktop, and then relaunch the game (but not if I just save and load the save). Still I want to know what causes it, and if there is a way to bypass this because my game does take a bit of time to load back up from desktop.
