Krasue that is wonderful  the best yet !  really nice work, natural looking and movement animation looks good. thanks so much for your efforts!!!!

 

Merciful Heavens we need this so badly ...those vanilla bodies are god awful as are the faces.

Lua would be a game changer for framework mods; tables alone would make data-handling incredibly simple without the weird workarounds you need in FONV, FO4, and Skyrim.

Guys, with this basic graphics they almost look like characters rendered with Iray in DAZ, talking about the ongoing wip, it's incredible! But do you think that body can then handle the various clothes and armors well?

I do develop in Unreal myself, but how the hell do you so easily mod packaged Unreal Games? I put a lot of work into creating a user plugin system for my game and you guys just inject new assets and blueprints into a packaged game? How!? I want to learn :D

I'd like to have a go at modding for the first time to try to make some of these NPCs less ugly; just working on the face and hair. Does anyone know of any sites that show how to go about it or threads that talk about it?

Man, I really hope we can make skin texture smooth and young. The old dried sandpaper texture that this game has is killing any body mod for me. Even with "Young Revamped" mod from nexus, your skin still looks like sunburnt dried 80 year old babushka skin that never heard of skin care...

So too tired to really write out a longer post like I usually do, but I may save it for my own post since it may lead directly to a larger project. Just wanted to share my excitement, I got custom animations loading and playing in-game, and the method is compatible with the animation framework I have for Palworld, so I could actually port that over to Oblivion Remastered for sure! =^.^=

Currently still needs research on the gameplay implementation side, as well as how to modify AI and such to make 'naughty' animation stuff happen. However I've already got the groundwork to have something up in probably a couple of days as long as I don't hit any major hurdles. (I expect to hit hurdles)

 

I'd like to ask if anyone is interested in making animations to test and try things out, however with the major caveat that this is still extremely early and things could get thrown out, just a warning! I'll start posting import assets in our discord, The Broken Chatbox and to the GDrive similar to how I do for Palworld stuff, just in its own folder. Even if I don't get to making a full-on framework, having some helper stuffs would be good! ^.^

I wish Bethesda would release a statement clarifying whether mods will eventually be supported and a modified toolkit will be released, or if mods will never be supported.  There's so much news spam going on about mods will not be supported for the remaster, when the FAQ statement just says mods are not supported. 

Also, there are so many files to go through; seems like a tonne of stuff goes through Altar and Engine, not quite sure what I'm looking at just yet.

My understanding is that UE armors overlay the body mesh, whereas OG armors include the body, if it shows. so some remodelling will be required.

if we can figure out how to do the modding via ue5 i so got this im a game dev, but cant figure out the ue5 old engine proxy yet, maybe some hero can prompt a.i. and it can find a workaround??

When ue5 work is needed hit me up id be glad to help!
