crow lotus Posted March 6, 2025 Posted March 6, 2025 I'm hoping someone can help me with this as it is driving me crazy. I have the Skyrim Special Edition (GOG) and tried every one of the mods for Address Library. I keep getting the message I need a new version of your mod. After trying them all, EXCEPT the archived ones which I can't access for some reason, nothing seems to work. For the record, I have 1.6.659 and it says I need says I need SKSE version 2.07.56. However, when I install that one it still gives me the same message. Any ideas how to fix this?
Grey Cloud Posted March 6, 2025 Posted March 6, 2025 The GOG version of SKSE is the second one down: SKSE The Address Library download you need is the second one here: All in one (1.6.x) Address Library 1.6x
crow lotus Posted March 6, 2025 Author Posted March 6, 2025 Did that and get this message EVERY time: You are using Skyrim version 1.6.659, which is out of date and incompatible with this version of SKSE64 (2.2.6). Update to the latest version.
traison Posted March 6, 2025 Posted March 6, 2025 https://skse.silverlock.org/download/archive/ There's 2 other GOG versions in the archive, its bound to be one of them.

traison Posted March 6, 2025 Posted March 6, 2025 Confusing message. First sentence suggests you have a mod trying to load a different version of address library. Second sentence suggests you go download another version of address library. I bet you have a mod that's not compatible with your game and skse version.

Wouldn't even know to list my mods in the first place. Edited March 6, 2025 by crow lotus Uploading pictures

If you don't know how to use your mod manager, how were you going to resolve simple issues like file conflicts, not to mention more complex issues? Can't mod Skyrim if you can't resolve conflicts, and analyze common file formats.

Well, just from my own observations it seems like GOG has less support than Steam version of Skyrim, so that could be a contributing factor to the issues you're experiencing. But if there's absolutely no way to get the Steam version and you're stuck with GOG, the only recommendation I have is to update your game. The version number you posted along with the SKSE version that you need are old. Like several years old. Edited March 6, 2025 by HentaiGnome

I know that's an old update but have no idea where I can download the latest patch for the game. Guess I'll stick with Oblivion from now on. LMAO!

I don't use GOG so I wouldn't know, but I assume it's just like Steam where it should let you update the game whenever it's available.
