No good camera / view mods?

I've been thru everything in tesnexus that I can find with words like "cam", "camera", "movie", "director", "3rd", "view" etc, and either it's only for making movies or, well, just plain poor. I even downloaded one where I binded camera control to wasd and character control around those keys, qerf, lol.

All I ever wanted was to be able to see my character from different angles when I fight. Can't believe it aint there for default.  :o

Ty all ye alls!  :P

Fight in Oblivion? Never thought there is such a function. Make love not war.  ;D

Seriously now, i tried to find something like this a day ago. No luck, same as for you.

Whoo... looks like i gonna try DR6. It has too many things i want.

BTW anyone knows why DR6 uses NifSE? And what's possible to do through NifSE at all? Sounds amazing: control meshes realtime using scripts, but what can it control? I tried test.esp from it, but found nothing really amazing.

About that: I always tought that DR was not compatible with lovers... is that really true?

Because if it wrong, I'll install right away this seemingly fantastic mod  :D

You need a special skeleton for compatibility with BBB. It's on tehNexus. Never heard of lovers-DR6 incompatibility.

they are compatible.

However, you need a special skeleton if you want to use DR6 and BBB.

And lovers without BBB is only half the fun :P

@ Uriel: Maybe its the throwing of weapons.

edit: slow internet is slow.

Thanks for your answers :)

I'm currently using this one:

Do you think it's compatible?

Not sure' date=' the one that are made especially for this purpose is here

Thanks, I'll test the current one I'm using (which claims to be the compilation of a lots of skeletons) and I'll say if it's ok :) !

Have you tried the loversNiche skeleton ?? So far it seem to be best and most stable one i have seen for lovers series, maybe it is compatible with DR6 but will have to test this for sure.

Thanks for the replies guys.  ;D

...but yeah those linked are all horrible. "Shooter" -viewing, motion blurring, 3rd person in 1st silliness.  :P

Press R - change view angle - release R - view stays where it was left. Press R again it resets. ...too much to ask, why God!  :'(

Independent Camera has the behaviour that you want but the controls are clunky. i.e. WASD are not the movement keys with this mod, but other defined keys are. You may be able to modify that.

I don't believe there is a mod that elegantly deals with this.

Yeah me neither. It's stunning tho - you'd think the first thing you want after getting huge boobs is SEEING THEM.  ;D

Loup sombre was the only one who really tried. but the older OBSE just did not have required option to pull this off. His 3rd animation in first person view.  Was pretty well done. I only wished he stick around and see if the newer obse has the options he needed.

Bumping this out of disbelief and frustration. :o

I can't believe there are all these gfx enhancing mods out there and the best cam for looking around is no-clip lol. ;D

First Person Body is a nice feature, although that particular one seems to have quite a few bugs.

In any case what I'm looking for is a 3rd person 360 view. (In which you can attack etc.)

Best bet would be for someone to manage to get the camera functions from Fallout and put them in Oblivion.

Other than that, probably won't really be able to get your desired way of camera.

But lets hope the Fallout camera mechanics are in Skyrim.

The only that came close, was this one.

This is the only that cane very close. Since you can look around your character in first person mode. Your head movement works independently with the attack you make. That way you can attack and still see what is going on left and right from you, by looking at the side directly.

Maybe the new Russian mod will fix this all in one. Who knows.

yes, its this one: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/20891 "Immersive First Person View by Loup Sombre"

i like the demo videos he uploaded, but i fear it will be messing with BBB and other animations.

having that one made from the maximum-compatibility-skeleton would be unbelievably awesome.

however... i've watched the video of http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/36635 "P-Froggys First Person Body by LogicDragon - P-Froggy"

and read about a multitude of bugs in it.

cant someone who knows how to do this sort of stuff just do it :(

i would stubbornly just copy my 3rdperson skeleton.nif into the 1stperson folder and overwrite it. but the 1stperson skeleton seems to be turned 90 degrees clockwise compared to the 3rdperson skeleton.

i bet this would screw my install completely :(

You guys actually fight in 1st person? :o I did at first, but as soon as you are forced to fight multiple opponents, the 1st person view is just terrible because you can't see if someone's to your left, or if an opponent spins behind you you just get disoriented. Use third person...that way, you get to look at your hottie fighting, too! :D
