SL Beastess SE Patch

I started this years ago and never finished up to now. That's the reason, the esp name does not match the mod name.

 

What it does:

 

1. remove overwrites to original vanilla spells and created new spells. They start with Beastess. Like Beastess Calm and so on.

craftable smelter 1 iron ore.

 

2. created facegen meshes/tint for the daedric beastess followers. (no more white face)

you may find in the facegen folders a subfolder with nif and facetint. This is for the beastess follower. I moved those, because I use my ownn replacer.

 

3. set dialogues to higher priority, so they show up on top position

Hint: If you use SLAC, deactivate the communicate to creatures/horses until you finished the Beastess quest. Activating this SLAC feature might block the Beastess dialogue menue..

 

4. Horse(s)

a tricky thing, as you mount on activate a horse. This blocks the Beastess quest from andvancing. Fixed this by making the Beastess Horses not rideable.

So you cannot mount those horses in a regular way. Here SLAC talk to horses MUST be disabled ! Otherwise the Beastess dialogue will be blocked.

 

5. Set wolf (last Beastess creature in the quest) from current follower faction 0 to -1.

 

6. Some Beastess creatures won't talk. First try activate a second time ("E"). If still not talking, there is an additional download, "speaktoanimals".

It's a toggle. I needed it for the saber and spider. This feature is not restricted to Beastess creatures. Use on on your own risk for other creatures.

It's a shout. so low distance needed.

 

I tested all the way to wolf and finished the quest.

One thing to mention.

The werewolf is near a bandit camp. He might fight and has his health below 0. Just use a healing spell and you can proceed.

 

Hope I got everything now.

I do not use the Vampire part. Have a note ther, without Chaurus Vampire. It's in my loadorder for years, so I cannot mention exactly what it means.

Horse is quite tricky. As soon as you mounted once, you need to load a save before.

Mounting the horse breaks the quest. SLAC communicate horse/creature or follower mods enabling talk must be disabled.

You should not be able to mount it, as I blocked the idles, maybe another mod enables it again. Like wild horses, whatever.

 

Will test again with thedu ngeon horse.

The wild one is place at a bad place. Maybe slaughterfish set the horse into combat state.

This block talk, too. 

Prid and move to a safe location might help.

(my slaughterfish are set to no hostile, so I did not notice it, if so)

 

If this does not help, I need more info, cannot reproduce it.

Is there a way to reset the Beastess quests so I can do it again with this patch?

Any chance you can remove the weird debuff the mod brings that weakens you if you don't have animal sex for too long? or make it optional/adjustable

I remember when I used the beasess mod it was extremely annoying, the debuff was too large, too often and ruined my enjoyment of the mod, I had to constantly console remove it because I was busy doing other things and was the reason I eventually got rid of it.

there is a bug, but not game breaking. It just trows an errormessage (not resolved reference).

The property is not used in the script. If I correct it via Null Reference, the patch needs Sexlab as master.

 

Or, correct in the Beastess mod yourself via Xedit or so. Upload correction in the patch or leave it ?

There are lots of debuffs, or is it on activating the sickness part ?

what shout? 

i don't see any "SpeakToAnimals" shout other than beastess' related shouts, nor is it in "Powers" section

Tell me, have the effects when turning on STD been fixed? They affect NPCs and then the dialogue disappears. They hate my character.
