Where do adult mods stand after the Next Gen update?

I haven't played Fallout 4 since the last LAST stable version everyone used to revert to for the sake of keeping many mods working (1.1.164 or something iirc)

I tinkered with a few mods but to my dismay came to the conclusion it was best I start from the ground up and optimize my setup on the most recent version of the game. This is giving me tons of anxiety because I had so many well made adult mods working perfectly.

Are there any updated/modern adult mods for Fallout 4 these days? 😞 Did NSFW modding get outpaced and left to die by the community with all of Bethesda's incessant updates?

This is a great question. That "Next Gen" update received about as well as walking into a coffee shop and announcing to everyone that order for them to purchase any coffee product they will be required to agree to consume said product only while a 24 inch long, 6 inch diameter horse cock is fully inserted to the base in the customer's anus.

In any case, I am also 'rebuilding' my fallout game from scratch and haven't had the stamina to tackle trying to track down all the sex/adult mods I had originally to check and see if they are compatible with the NG-Update. I know for sure that the game wouldn't even load to the main menu with my old mods. When you have 400 mods, you really, reeeeaallly, REALLY don't want to have to debug which mods are causing your game to crash.

I updated my game in july last year and my adult setup is working (after updating important things like AAF, buffout, mcm, looksmenu etc).

The TFM is updated for the NextGen Update too, which gives you a solid build to start with (it contains links to all the important stuff):

Most of the mods (like Quests, Animation Packs etc) dont need an update itself for NG and still work.

Otherwise there are also ways to rollback to oldgen (before the update). Many users (probably the majority) prefer that. Whichever version you choose, you can still enjoy adult mods :)

I'm running 375 mods without any problems with the Next gen update. The main files for F4SE, Address Library, Buffout etc. needs updated for your next gen to work, but the rest of the mods don't really have a problem with the NG.

I've had nothing but problems.

I currently have two NGU folders. One is clean with zero mods (for just in case), and the other I'm currently fighting with

to get mods working as they once did before this update nobody asked for.

Downgrading somehow broke RaceMenu overlays completely. So I started over (one of those "just in case" moments).

And the previous TFMs instructions are lost in the ether I guess.

The TFM is also super confusing when it comes to picking the right body/skeleton combo.

I wanted to forego AAF and use NAF instead. Didn't go well at all.

I'm giving it one last go this week. But if it isn't working by this weekend, Fallout 4 will be in the rearview for good this time.

The NG is worth it for me. I use ultra wide monitors, and I'd have to use 3rd party software JUST to get the game correct on my screen. Unfortunately, this caused distortion & tearing in many cases.

But, in NG, ultrawide is native, and doesn't distort.

NG now has the Enclave, more enemies to combat, which is a good thing. There are also more quests for the game as well.

But the biggest reason to get NG is the reduced stuttering. GODS & GODDESSES was that annoying!!

163 will very soon, no longer be supported & everyone will need to get NG anyway, so I went on ahead & got it.

And yes, I've seen some mods out there that refuse to go to NG. That's their choice to do so.

I've got a few glitches I need to iron out, but it's nothing I can't handle. I think NG is a superior platform, myself.

I *do* wish I'd have gotten Valentine's Detective Agency fleshed out more. Actually becoming a detective & going on dangerous cases would've been fun, IMHO.

Maybe that's something we modders can do, like the Fallout London UK mod??

works fine for me. Followed the instructions/load order in TFM. Only issues I've had are AAF issues that have always been there. The only NG issue I've seen is the stuttering when npc's are edited, which is fixed by "community fixes merged" and "X-cell" mods

"Loaded Bases" does what you want as a medium sized quest.:)
