I got banned after using xxmi. Is anyone else banned too? How can I stay safe?

Are you sure it's because of XXMI? Lately, at least on the European server, the game just kicks you out after two minutes when using XXMI — but no ban. Have you used any of the workaround methods that are currently floating around online? Because most of those are risky and mess with the anticheat.

Couple relevant questions:

1) Did you post any screenshots/videos with your UID showing? You could always get banned for that since you're leaving literal directions to your account with proof.

2) Was XXMI for skin mods really the only thing you were using? I know it's a stereotype that banned people always say "I was only using X" but were actually doing Y and Z, so you gotta be on an honor system there.

3) Were you using any of the 4001 error workarounds, if you got that error? If so, which one?

4) Did you encounter that notorious hacker that's been going around destroying people's worlds in multiplayer? I doubt it was them unless they are able to trigger a variable to cheat detection, but maybe they found a way with the chaos they've been causing..

5) Anyone else? If it's just you, then it's gotta be considered a fluke until more people confirm a ban message to sound a mass alarm.

 

Probably more questions, but I'm not sure what else to ask in order to pin down what triggered it, assuming it was XXMI.

I only use xxmi, and don't use anything else, even I just played it for less than 1 day

I never get kicked too

1. Never, I only played it for a few hours too

2.Of course, I only use xxmi because I only know how to use xxmi mod version

3.What does error 4001 mean?

5.I logged in several times without using xxmi to turn off the mod, is this the problem?

For anyone else that has this problem, this ini file can help.

 

Basicaly I added the line:

run = CommandList\global\ORFix\ORFix

 

to the segment of the ini that referenced that texture

 

like this:
