Anyone know how to fix these mods:

  • Mauvika, Layla and Kirara mods are from Void Hero
  • Faruzan mods is from Hazeker
  • Arlecchino mod is from Exce
  • Dori. Yaoyao and Collei mods are from Lin Sik

And again, only half the information was left there. ^^ It's important to restart your PC after making the changes to avoid problems.

 

+ There's no protection anymore, no matter what you use. And most of the people who were banned were livestreaming. I don't need to say anything more about that.

There's always a risk, but that's not why you were banned if you used it.

But as I said, the anti-cheat is at the kernel level.

There's no way to change it.

 

The worst thing, though, is that it doesn't protect against hackers. It's started again, so please don't let strangers into your worlds. The crappy anti-cheat doesn't protect you from someone deleting your worlds. XD

When you open the game (enter the main world), disconnect your Ethernet connection and wait 10 seconds before reconnecting to your Internet. Repeat this process for 5 minutes. Repeat this process about 30 times and then this prompt will not appear.

So, looks like Genshin devs decided we’re done using mods — or maybe it’s not about skins at all, who knows. What bugs me more is that XXMI hasn’t updated GIMI, even though the “Illegal tool detected” thing hits everyone using it.

If HoYo really blocked skins but didn’t ban me — cool, I’m not exactly eager to keep playing or spending money on a modless game anyway.

I did some research and I see that this isn't the only one that this happened to. https://gamebanana.com/blogs/20715 There are options that might help you solve your problem. I think it's a matter of updating or going back to a previous version or deleting the cache.

That error started around 2 months ago. It's nothing new, but it's just a lottery if it affects you or not. There are workarounds you can try, but no guarantees if those workarounds are safe.

The illegal tool thing does *not* affect "everyone" using XXMI/GIMI

literally everyone I know who uses mods has gotten this error.

everyone outside of the states, its not a problem where I am and I have never seen this. seems genshin is changing for the worst in some places.

I've never heard of it affecting non-XXMI users. I could be wrong but? I haven't bothered to swap from an old GIMI install to XXMI as I never saw the need for it.
