same, I use XXMI and got this genshin impact data error code: 15-4001 this morning, but last night it's fine.

I already try any way to solve it but doesn't work, such as :
- turning off the internet and then entering the game or any turning off internet solution, but still error
- repair function of miHoYo Launcher
- update the Windows system
- can't delete nvapi64.dll because there aren't one in the folder

- change GIMI version to v8.18
- for me, this error ONLY appear in ASIA server, I try the Europe one and no error pop up

For those troubled by the “15-4001” error, I’d like to share a possible solution:
Open your “mihoyo launcher” folder, rename “launcher.exe” to “yuanshen.exe”, then change the launch folder in XXMI to the “mihoyo launcher” folder. After that, start XXMI—this will launch the official launcher, and you can enter the game through it.

This worked for me (on the China server), and I haven’t encountered any errors during continuous use.

do you mean put the the entire xxmi folder in to the “mihoyo launcher”  or do you mean to change its name to that

also by mihoyo launcher do you mean the hoyoplay folder since that is what its named on my device

No. See the second picture, open XXMI, choose GIMI, then click the gear icon in the upper right corner to open the settings， then change "game folder" in "General" to the mihoyo launcher folder instead of the Genshin Impact folder.
