MistressWolf Posted January 27, 2025 Posted January 27, 2025 (edited) Im well beyond my skills to troubleshoot this issue unforntually. Had the game working fine before I started installing the Sexlab mods so know at least ive done something wrong in that area but I cant figure out what. Its not producing any crash logs I guess since its just not starting up to make any. I use MO2, state the game with SKSE63 loader though MO2. Ive ran Bodyslide, FNIS and Loot prior to trying to start the game. I have no Alerts other then one for Form 43 plugin which as I understand doesnt really effect anything. Im using the latest version of Skyrim AE from Steam. Any help would be greatly apricated! I figure someone out there is smart enough to help me figure this out. Just let me know what info you need or if I need to run a different program to help with this! Thank you in advance. Edited January 27, 2025 by MistressWolf

The GUI has nothing to do with whether or not the crash logger dll is loaded and initialized. Check for a log, instead of just assuming there's none.

Willingness to accept that you could have made a mistake is half the battle won. First thing I'd do if I were you (I'm assuming you are new to LL mods) is to check that the mods (including SKSE64) which you installed are for SE and not LE, and where necessary, are for your specific version of the Skyrim exe. In this context there is a difference between SE and AE. Edited January 27, 2025 by Grey Cloud
MistressWolf Posted January 27, 2025 Author Posted January 27, 2025 Im sorry I should of been more clear. I checked the folder where the crash logs are at and theres not any for today, just older ones from a couple days ago.

MistressWolf Posted January 28, 2025 Author Posted January 28, 2025 I hope these are the files you are referring to. I looked through them and didnt notice anything but honestly it probably could of bit me and id of missed it. skee64.log skse64.log
traison Posted January 28, 2025 Posted January 28, 2025 init complete Nothing wrong here, except that you don't have a crash logger. So: Check the date on that skse64.log, are you sure its from when you last tried to run the game? Crash logger is not installed.
MistressWolf Posted January 28, 2025 Author Posted January 28, 2025 Yes I checked the date and times on the files and that was the last two times I tried to launch it. What crash logger should I use and can I get it on Nexus?

MistressWolf Posted January 28, 2025 Author Posted January 28, 2025 Thank you for that. Ran Skyrim and got a crashlog but after trying to read through it Im unforntualy unable to figure out what its telling me so I included it below and hope it means something to you! crash-2025-01-28-13-45-16.log
traison Posted January 28, 2025 Posted January 28, 2025 Its having issues reading SexLabTools.bsa. Some options then: You've hit the stdio limit. I.e. you have too many plugins (esl included) and bsa files. I think the limit is 512 by default. Engine Fixes increases it. Occasionally there's been threads about having issues with random BSA files. Extracting them usually gets around it.
MistressWolf Posted January 28, 2025 Author Posted January 28, 2025 Ok so replaced Sexlab tools with Patched SE SL TOOLS Updated and ran again but it failed to start so I tried looking at the crash log and saw that Sexlab Defeat was listed ALOT so disabled that and tried again aaannndd the game started! Character was just standing there in the T pose, I use alternate start, but at least this is progress!

MistressWolf Posted January 28, 2025 Author Posted January 28, 2025 You are correct, I forgot to run it again after changing tools and disabling Defeat. Now I just need to figure out why Defeat isnt working right and I think I might just be ready to go!
MistressWolf Posted January 29, 2025 Author Posted January 29, 2025 Ok it looks like everything is working fine now! Thank you for all your help, Id of never figured it out without you. Hope you have a great week and weekend! 1
