Sorry what do i do with *.dll file included?

I don't think it's needed for most people. I guess it's if you want to replace the DLL in ONIKI_KinkyMod.package yourself with S3PE rather than replacing the whole package file with the newer one.

lol Hello,

I just got my hands on the updated source files. None of my code is in 437 source files yet. I have to put all that back in and, as Loveternity said, please give me a minute here. ❤️

It will be worth the (short) wait. I've already got some new tuning ready to join the list. It will not be long, I promise. 🙂

Thanks for the update but I still have some little problems and I think you can solve it. When I use rape on KW, there are only some animations. I have more than 1500 animations but when sim uses rape there is only a few animations. How can I add all animations or how can I select? I tried to add some animations to "rape list" but it doesn't help

I'm not in game at the moment so I can't be specific but I'm pretty sure there is an option in Debug that lets you choose which animations can be used for rape situations. I wish my memory wasn't awful sometimes. :P

Hello there @inrush

Please thoroughly look over the READ.ME I've included with the download. As Omicr0n said this is not needed for most people and included for manual installation through S3PE.

Many users, myself included, have their own moodlet icons or have made changes that would otherwise be erased if they would replace the entire .package file. I do this to try and not disturb any settings or changes users have made to their own configuration of the .packages. I hope Omicr0ns and my explanations help. 😘

I will look into this because I also noticed changes to this in recent Builds. I will ask Jv if any light could be shed on changes made to this. We used to be able to choose any animation once the rape sequence began but now we can't. Thanks for reminding of this, I'll try to get this sorted or reverted back.

Fair point, I do remember that in the past. After all if we can't change the location of an ongoing rape, there's no point in animations being flagged for it unless they're floor animations (since rapes always seem to initiate on floor).

I wonder if while this issue persists it can be worked around by flagging animations in S3PE as BDSM/Rough. Not a practical solution but better than nothing I guess.

Oh, it is a bug? I thought it was by design. Yes, in version 394, you can change locations, furniture, etc... absolute freedom to go anywhere you want. I was puzzled why this was not allowed anymore, I thought it was by design.

So I'm curious what is everyone's impression of 437?

Um, again, everyone's game is different base on your mod set up, but 437 lags big time for some reason in my game. Included is a screenshot of my brothel business. It runs to 4 am. So Wednesday (game day) I tried 437, you can already see the decline in earning. Thursday is the full day I tested 437, you can see major drop in earnings because the game was just laggy as hell and major pauses before woohoo. Friday, I switched back to 436, and the earning is back on par with Sunday-Tuesday because the game is running smooth again.

I don't know what is going on.

My game is always laggy because I'm running both KW and NRaas StoryProgression, so I haven't really noticed a difference in that regard.

How laggy? Because I run both KW and story progression as well. 436 is really smooth, even smoother than 394. I was quite amazed. But 437 literally just the sims standing around not moving, the game is choppy and the camera movement is slow and draggy.

No I don't think it's a bug it was, I believe, by design from Denton or Jv. Something was def changed.

You might have a better CPU than me. I get periodic slowdowns at certain times each hour as stuff from either KW or SP is firing in the background. I wouldn't have described 436 as smooth, but I also haven't noticed any decreased performance with 437. Your experience sounds worse than mine. I will say that my camera gets laggy at the same time that any script lag is occurring, but that's always been the case for me.

Overall I'd say my game is not laggy but results will most likely vary for players because the mod overs different options to turn on / off. Of course PC hardware will impact performance too. I also have Nraas StoryProg and don't get lag. Hearing you have smooth gameplay in 436 but now not in 437 makes me sad :( lol this is what made my decision difficult about which Build I should take over from......

Let me get a discussion going with Jv to go over changes made between 436 & 437 and go from there. I hate hearing it was great for you in 436 but now it's not :(

Exhibition was re-enabled globally with 437. Not sure if that's having a possible impact. I had already re-enabled it in 436, so I wouldn't have noticed the difference between the 2 versions.

I'm also surprised to hear that multiple people have somehow managed a non-laggy game with both KW and SP. You must both be running the game on NASA supercomputers, or I'm doing something horribly wrong.

@nitromon I remember the big change between the versions being autonomy-related. If you enable Reduced Autonomy from the in-game settings (Loverslab section) and you've set most stuff to False through S3PE, does that improve the situation?

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check again later, going to switch back to 437 and see if the lag comes back. I was a bit surprised that the moment I switched to 436 again, it was instantly just fast. but the last time I ran 437, I did check the loverslab section to make sure the settings did not change.

I'm not sure if it is more autonomy, as most sims seem to be frozen in lag. The reason the brothel earning was so low was because it takes a long time for the woohoo sequence to start compare to 436 which was almost instantaneous. removing clothes for woohoo was also seamingly instantaneous in 436 and lagged in 437.

I'm running on a laptop from 2012. 😃

But it is a quad core i7 and I run it quite clean, removing any auto-updaters and stuff.

I've heard before that the game performs better on older hardware for whatever reason. My computer is from around 2019

NRaas SP has a big performance hit on default settings. However if you set the speed to Slow (or even Snail), that helps a lot. Even more so if you play on a long lifespan, because the speed adjusts to that.

So if you set a huge lifespan and make the story speed slow enough from SP, the performance hit is negligible really.

lol my specs are

9900k slightly OC to 4.7ghz all core.

32GB ddr4 Crucial Ballistix 3600mt/s CL16

6700xt Red Devil from PowerColor

The game is installed on a 970Evo+ NVMe

Thank you for sharing, I wanna try this.

Yeah I've already got all of the SP speeds adjusted for an Epic lifespan. I'm sure it does help, but I still get lag in my game.

Unsurprisingly your computer is newer and more powerful than mine:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor (3.80GHz)
Memory: 32 GB DDR4-3200
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT

My game is also running off an NVME

I also have my SP set on epic range along with relativity set at extremely slow. But I think if I remember correctly, it is true that TS3 runs worse on newer machines especially if there's not a balance between CPU and the HDD. In sense, your CPU can be too fast that your HDD cannot catch up. I'm sure today everyone runs on SSD over HDD, but again I'm looking at your specs and you guys have really powerful CPU and many cores. It may actually improve performance by slowing down the CPU a little, to reduce the bottleneck in loading from the drive. NVME is pretty much the fastest it gets on SSD, but that 4.7GHz CPU is really fast.

But even so TS3 is an old 32-bit game, so there will always be some intermitten lags here and there. But what I was talking about above with 437 is a continuous slowdown, basically high CPU usage and the whole world is on a constant lag. This is why I say even the camera movement was just slow. When I move the camera it is like driving on a slippery road, constantly overshot my movement and I had to readjust while it freezes etc...

I still haven't had a chance to reload 437 and examine it more thoroughly, like checking the autonomy options. However, the brothel data above, you can see I ran 436 for 3 solid sims days without issue. I do actually save and quit after each day bc my game is heavily bloated. The transition to 437 is very noticeable bc the whor... err employees were not as efficient due to the lag.

The only thing I noticed during the previous run of 437 was a lot of error was caught with NPCs like Swiftfinger, Good, etc... this led me to check the population and I found something odd that I've never seen before. There were like 30 NPC animals, aliens, and some sims who were 500+ days old. These are animals such as stray cats, dogs, and horses for adoption. I've never seen that before until recently, not sure why that is.

I wish I had an immediate answer for you on the slowdown and brothel issues from 436 > 437 but I don't 😞 but I'm adding it to the list of things to look into and talk with Jv about

Welp, there's the reason for the performance hit! Unless I play on a world that I know is pet-friendly like Appaloosa Plains, I remove strays with Register and I don't even allow residents to have pets with SP. Now the million dollar question is how on earth that happened in your game...
