maybenexttime Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 I just installed somber enb, and only this enb is giving me black borders problem (top and bottom) anyone know idea why?
myuhinny Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Looking at the screenshots on here http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/52125/? I would say that is part of the ENB as all the screen shots have that black border on the top and bottom. It's probably used for a vintage look.

Shame... I liked Somber Enb the best, I switched to lone wanderers, which is pretty good I suppose. I might try E enb tomorrow. Do you recommend any enbs?
myuhinny Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Not for fallout new Vegas I haven't used any for it yet. But I do use A tweaked ENB for my oblivion game which is a pretty awesome one.
Guest endgameaddiction Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 You could always request (if the author hasn't) to provide a file with the option of not having the letterbox. Usually ENB presets have this as an optional file. If not get a text editor tool and open the enbeffect.fx file. I believe it should be there. I know I edited the letterbox with DDD ENB on FO3 that way. I wasn't a fan of the huge letter box. Only way I would like it like that is if the resolution was rendered at a wider screen with SRWE. Anyways I'd suggest contacting the author if a request is denied. He could just point you out where to edit it in the enbeffect.fx file and how to scale it down so that it's not visible on screen. I know that every ENB preset has it setup different. If you do tweak the settings, Sublime Text 3 is a good one.
