Sabretooth (companion) mod not working with creature animations? SSE/AE

Hi! I'm wondering if anyone knows how to get this mod's companion character working with creature animations:

For reference, animations are working with other Sabrecats in my game, be they wild or summoned. It's just this guy who doesn't want to play. It gives one of those error messages like "you and an aroused sabrecat could not make it work". Would I need some sort of compatibility patch or something?

I suspect that what you need is a patch. I just looked on MNCs SE Thread and didn't see one listed - so it likely doesn't exist yet. However, if you go on the MNC Support Thread and ask VERY nicely it is possible that @MadMansGun or someone else might look into it ("no promises" - Clavicus Vile).

When you go to the page where you download the mod there are two buttons on the top right of the page. The upper one is the Download button. Underneath that is the "Get Support" button. Click on that and ask your question there.
