How though?

As the title implies, how exactly do you install these mods?

It's been a problem with all LoversLab mods, there's never a single place that tells you "this is the basic setup that all the mods here need", you have to try and figure out which mods interact with which other mods and what position they need to be in and whether or not they have other requirements. It seems a little overly complicated. Is there anyone who has a mod that combines the base mods required for everything into one, or a guide showing which mods are required for all other mods, or someone who has a lot of mods installed can post their load order?

I've tried to follow the instructions in the descriptions but I'm just getting a crash to desktop on startup. I've tried to remove a bunch of mods in different combinations and still ctd.

try ironymodmanager. it should help with mod compatibility. it also has the ability to merge a modlist into a single mod, if not perfectly compatable it usually breaks game functions and mechanics, but it can allow you to force the game to play

Well from what I understand you might have 3 problems.

The 1st and probably most important one is that you might not know how to manually install mods, that's quite simple with paradox games, all you have to do is go to the directory that the user "whateverdontcare" wrote before me, and then copy and paste the mod folder along with its ".mod" file in that directory (The mod folder should have at least a "descriptor.mod" file and one of these folders "common", "events", "gfx", "localization").

The 2nd one is that in these CK3 forums there isnt a lot of mods that require another one except for carnalitas which is like a base mod for a lot of mods in this site.

The 3rd one is more complicated, usually if a mod is compatible or needs another one it might have it in the description, but you also have to figure out (if you dont want to simply go by the trial and error method), which mods might cause incompatibilities with each other, for example if a mod changes 3D models it will most definitely not be compatible with any other mod that changes 3D models, if a mod changes vanilla files, then it might overwrite vanilla files that other mods are also overwriting and that needed those changes to work, also if a mod changes the "gui" or well graphical elements from your interface, it might also be incompatible with other mods that do the same thing (Like quite a lot do with the character window). Of course most of these might be solved with a compatibility patch but not everyone is willing to do those patches.

Although this will not work if your username in Windows has non-ASCII characters in it. There is a well-known bug that even the newer paradox games can't deal with folders with special characters.

The workaround for this is that you can make a folder in a directory without any computer-unfriendly characters (like C:\\CK3-Mods), and edit the .mod file to find the mod in this directory. It's a bit of work but it's doable.
