CrimsonBlood2012
downloaded some new content for oblivion, then noticed a small crack in the disc. what a bummer Link to comment
Captain Cobra
You could always try ripping an .iso from it and burning it to another disk. Might not work, but it's worth a shot. Link to comment

Ravana
I had a really long thing to type here but it came dangerously close to pirate-talk. I think I'll just skip it Steam is having a 50% off sale on Oblivion: GOTY edition, which includes both expansions, for 10 bucks USD. This is what I'd recommend, short of... the riskier alternatives. Cheap, efficient, and you'll never have to worry about a disc again. Edit: Also, I'm confused as hell, the Oblivion EULA states that you cannot copy the software except for backups, and ALSO you cannot store the software on any other device and must run from the retail CD-ROM... ??? Lyreal
If you have your CD-key, then try to active it about steam. Maybe you have luck. Link to comment

Alternatively you can download a no-cd patch for oblivion so you don't need your disc anymore. Link to comment
Kaz Aanh
If I remember correctly, Steam version of the Oblivion had problems with OBSE and other mods. But yeah if you already owned a Oblivion its okay to download a copy from the web. Or just watch out for 75% off on the steam. Link to comment

Ms. Trigun
*snip* Edit: Also, I'm confused as hell, the Oblivion EULA states that you cannot copy the software except for backups, and ALSO you cannot store the software on any other device and must run from the retail CD-ROM... ??? What, someone actually bothers with the EULA crap? I thought no one ever reads it and no one gives a single fuck.. And I really doubt a game dev will come sniffing around your place to check what do you do with your game disks... Link to comment

Edit: Here's a mini iso. These are legal in that they don't contain the bulk of the files, just those needed to pass the CD check. Ain't a modification of the .exe nor does it supply any files.
