Oblivion Caught Something From A Prostitute

I tried to launch Oblivion with this checked and it won't...only if I have it unchecked it works. The game launches to the black screen portion then closes. So a quick millisecond launch/crash.

Does this mod work for others?

Seems SI is a masterfile of the mod; without it, you can't play it.

Keep in mind, when ever your game crashes at the startup, then you are missing a dependent masterfile for a mod.

I got Oblivion GOTY edition and LWPK. There doesn't seem to be a requirements section on the topic post.

This seem to be the requirements. And even though you have the GOTY, you definitely don't have SI as an active mod, which is required though.

Well, I seem to have missed that.

Anyway, you still seem to have a missing masterfile somewhere, that is the common reason for a CTD at startup.

On anoter note, try to rearange your loadorder like Gregathit suggets in this thread:

You posted a alphabetical listing not your load order.

The load order starts with Oblivion esm

after this all the other esm files

first esp must be DLCShiveringIsles.esp

then DLCs, clothes and armor mods in this order

DLCHorseArmor.esp
DLCOrrery.esp
DLCVileLair.esp
DLCMehrunesRazor.esp
DLCSpellTomes.esp
DLCThievesDen.esp

 

then quest Mods and DLCs

DLCBattlehornCastle.esp
DLCFrostcrag.esp
Knights.esp

 

after that race Mods or Lovers Mods

 Lovers Mod order see the Link above

 

or you can place the race Mods after Lovers Mods

But the very last Mods must be (in this order)

 

LoversMB2.esp
LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp
LoversAnimObjectsPriority.esp

But without MBP you can not play Lovers Prostitute (or load the game)

Well that's my order and I cannot change it as Data Files doesn't have the arrows to do so like Skyrim.

Also Thulas that link doesn't seem to work you posted.

You can/must sort your load order in Oblivion Modmanger (wrong load order = more CTDs in game or you can not start the game) http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/2097/

 MBP = Modular Beautiful People ( new races, hair and eyes)

You need to use a mod manager like Wyre Bash and you CAN change your load order.  Oblivion is VERY load order sensitive and just one mod out of order can break your game.
