I don't make huge boobs/ass mods, because I simply don't like them :D 

But you can edit them if you want to. Did you learn how to do it? If not, I can teach you if you want to learn.

I'm personally a huge fan of how you do your mods. You have the same design philosophy as me I think haha.

I like the default proportions and semi-nude. If you take away too much of a characters outfit, it becomes too generic. Its just a nude body with different heads.

Keep up the good work! I always get excited when I see you release something new!

If you're okay with me editing them for my use I'll see what I can get done.

 

Only issue I've been having is once I RETOC the files I can't get them packed up working again for some strange reason.  An issue I didn't have with the .pak files from last season.

If you need it I can send you the zipped directory with the unpacked files. 

BTW have you changed in retoc directory the files pakchunkCharacter-Windows.pak, global.ucas and global.utoc with the new files for season 3.5?

Hello, I need some assistance.


Want to do a texture mod for the Summer Psylocke skin, and for that been trying to link the textures to the mesh in blender, but while I can do it with most of them, for the the hair, eyelashes and eyes just cant seem to find the logic on them

 

How could I get those textures right? here's the list of textures extracted

All the skins are made by different layers of textures. 

For example the basecolor texture is the one that ends with _D, and this one often is enough to show a preview in blender. 

But to show in Blender some particular texture, like the hair and the ice in Emma and Luna skins, all the texture layers are required, so you have edit the shade and mix all of them.

I see, so all the textures have to be in the correct slots or layers for the preview to show up correctly

 

If is too much to ask, could you please help me pointing out me which types of textures does the model use? so can find the way to link them on my own 

 

D = Diffuse

N = Normal

ORM = ???

S = ???

M = ???

AO = ???

ID = ???

Hmmmmm, that's a good point.  I'll refresh those files.

 

I have MCM's SG fixed, but I can't get the skin to apply to the model in-game, everything else is working and it no longer has issues with file placement.     I had Magneto working without breaking Psylocke but it won't animate.   This could be RETOC issues.  Thanks for the idea.

ORM = this uses the layers RGB for Red: Ambient Occlusion, Green: Roughness, Blue: Metallic

S = Specular

M = Metallic

AO = Ambient Occlusion

E = Emissive

ID = ??? Maybe Inverted Diffuse, I don't remember exactly what it means, I never use it

 

You can search on Google how all of them work and how to shade them in Blender

yep, that's the plan, will investigate more and this helps me narrow my search a lot

@Napalex Also, how do you repack the mods once you make the changes?  IOStore or Repack?  I'm running into issue I think Repack is breaking the mods when I repack them because it's trying to fix things it shouldn't.    Should I use Repack FIRST then leave the Patch_Files file and then make the changes?

I use repak gui. It's the same as the normal repak, but it has a gui.

The Patched_files file contains the mesh file that are already fixed.

If you cook the new mesh file and you overwrite the old one, you have to edit the Patched_files and remove the name of the mesh file you just added (or . The repaker now can fix the new mesh file and re-add the mesh file inside thee patched_files.

The mesh files should be patched only once, just after you cook it.

 

If you want the unpacked mods, just tell me which one you want and I will send it

the mod was made before this variant of the skin existed. you probably need to do it yourself or wait till the modder adds the texture for this.

Gang anyone know how to compress a file by a lot? I the Menu mod comes out to a lil over 1GB and 7zip only got it to 700MB (The Limit in here is 500MB)

If it's a video file, you cannot reduce the size by compress it with 7zip or rar, you have to re-code it with a lesser bit rate.

Use a site like sharemods, upload it there then post the link here

i share your pain... Only got luna. i been so busy and just never bought it not thinking about it expiring... but its a Gooner skin by default, so they will probably (hopefully) bring it back next summer or when they get a $$$ itch... 😧
