Anyone been experiencing some extremely distracting flickering/jittering with the physics of some mods?  For example, I attached a mod for the default mantis skin.  Whenever rotating in the menus, there are no buggy physics interactions.  However, when in-game, the extremely distracting jittery physics occur.  Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?  Tried removing UJP, tried using this mod alone without any other mods enabled, yet the problem persists.  Very surprised I haven't seen any mention of this problem regarding any mods anywhere from my research.

I was using cow mantis with no issues until recently, I'll check it out and report back..

 

EDIT:   I don't have physics on my Cow Mantis, so maybe that's it?   I have UJP in, but looks like the model doesn't have physics.    I note you said default mantis, CowMantis replaced GOTG unless you're using a different mod.  I'll check the one you posted now.

 

EDIT 2:  Yeah, your model is totally different, seems like it uses Kawaii Physics or a custom jiggle physics baked in, I noticed the jitter on the boobs and thigh/butt area.  It's also got alpha map issues as it's way too bright.   But yeah, I can confirm its not you, it's this model's baked in physics.

Looking for these ones. I misremembered me having a Luna mod, but I remember now that I skipped over her because I really liked zai's mod for her. I have all the old PAKs for these too

I honestly don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if unreal is screwing up or what. I've basically posted the entire process I go through and nobody's pointed out something I'm doing wrong, so I honestly have no idea

 

Edit: That does actually gave me an idea. After going back and forth between the different mapping files in fmodel and testing "fixed" and "unfixed" meshes

The "unfixed" meshes look like they are working, but they can't attach themselves to the skeleton (because of the different versioning I'm assuming), it looks like there's info there but its just not compatible with the files its trying to attach itself to

While the "fixed" mesh shows a "null" for everything beyond the object path for the skeleton.

Am I using the wrong repak somehow? 
Here's the unfixed files from unreal, is someone able to try repacking/fixing these and seeing if they work?

Is there ANYTHING I need to do to the assets in unreal before cooking?

Change material slot names, anything I need to create and assign, any asset details I need to change at all?

I'm on 5.3.2, and I installed that SDK and restarted just in case. 

If that FBX works for you then its nothing in blender causing the crash, so it has to be here 

the physics asset name is wrong. Mantis lobby mesh points to a file called something like "physics hair" or something like that I cannot verify from here, but it has not the standard name

Yeah its SK_Physics_Hair

I tried that before with no good results, but for consistency's sake should've kept using it.
Still, if that's the only thing different I needed to do, with no special asset settings or project / packaging settings needed, I'm wondering if its the repacker causing the issues somehow? Using version 2.5.6 repacker from natimerry, this is the correct one to use yeah?


and just in case, here's the cooked files from unreal with the physics object named correctly

I'm also really sorry that this is taking such a long time to figure out, I've never had this much trouble getting mods for an unreal game to work like this. It's usually pretty simple, maybe some weird thing but this is the first time I've had so much trouble even getting the game to just not crash

If you're looking for any of Zai's mods I brought them to the current version and they're all in the Barefoot Bitches collection on Nexus, and I can post them here too. 

Napalex took over making barefoot bitches meshes so I've stopped updating my mod as it was a collection of older mods brought up and Napa is making god level content.

@Napalex btw, someone asked me if I could make a mesh of Emma barefoot, but wearing stirrup tights instead of fully barefoot, and I'm not really a mesh collider, haven't tried that yet, so if you want inspiration for something, a Nude Barefoot Emma with Stirrup Tights (the ones that have the little loop that goes over the bottom of the foot to keep them down).

So I have no idea what this mod originally was, presumably some kind of full nude for psylocke.  I used to use it to make WhitePimpi's skimpy nudes fully nude like in the picture, just make sure it loads after the other mod.  I tried running it through the auto updater, but it had no effect.  Wondering if someone could figure this out for me?  It was a great trick for stripping the rest of the clothes off of that mod.zz_Psylocke_Make_White_Nude_Fully_Nude_9999999_P.zipScreenshot_45.jpg.e93d3fe8c01b93d77814b0dca621c884.jpg

So it looks like it changes visibility on the Equip3, which are her clothing layer, and then retextures her belly.  The rest of her texture mask is hidden, which is why it works with the tattoos, those won't be overwritten.

Here's what it looks like with BlackMaskNude and with the Vengeance skin I just fixed for you.  On BlackNude it removes her mask as well as her clothing, and on Vengeance her top is hidden but she doesn't have nipple textures because the Vengeance skin is mapped differently so it looks like she's wearing pasties.

For Emma I want to build my own body shape as I don't want to use the model made by someone else. But I'm in vacation now, and I'm unable to do complex works with my little laptop.

 

BTW, if you want to learn, you can use the Norskpl's mod and add the stirrup tights. You can search in YouTube "how to add clothes to model" and watch how to use the shrinkwrap modifier.

If you want to use the model as a payed commission, it should be nice to ask Norskpl's authorization first.

don't worry, it's not a problem for me to help you, I'm sorry that I cannot assist you better, as I'm not home in these weeks and I don't have my pc, so I have a very limited possibility to cook or verify files.

Anyways, about your problem, have you tried other model of other characters? Do a test: extract from Fmodel the model of Widow standard skin (it's one with all the standard names for skeleton and physicasset), modify something in blender, just to make it different from standard, then import it on Unreal Engine and cook it.

If it works, then your problem is related to the mantis project.

If it doesn't work and game crashes with access violation when you select Widow, then something is missing in the repak procedure (and this is still the most probable hipotesys IMO because I was able to repac your Mantis fbx and it worked. I saw your procedure and it seemed correct, but maybe I missed some detail)

I still think that your problem is caused by some stupid little checkbox somewhere with the wrong check.

I super appreciate your efforts, thanks!  When I try it, with a couple I thought it worked with before, I often get missing legs, there anything I can do about that?  Thanks again.

Hey awesome people, I need help! 😭

This is my first time trying to make a mod, and it kinda works now... but I’ve hit two small issues that I just can’t figure out no matter how hard I try. Hoping someone here can shed some light!

So, when I view the skin in the lobby (I haven’t tested in-game because I actually didn’t buy the skin 😅), here’s what happens:

1. As soon as the character moves, there are visible seams or cracks on the body (like on the arms, legs, armpits, etc.) It looks like a texture mismatch or something? I can also see those seams when I preview animations in Blender.

For context: I edited https://www.nexusmods.com/marvelrivals/mods/3452 (just for personal use because I couldn’t find a NSFW version of this skin, hope that’s not considered rude/illegal 🙈), and mostly just clumsily changed the clothes mesh. The original mod didn’t have this issue, so I’m guessing I broke something in Blender...

2. The character's arm still shows the original skin's FX (some glowing stuff) , it actually looks kinda cool, but I'd still love to know how to remove it if possible.

If anyone could kindly help me out (or even share a helpful Discord, YouTube link, or anything like that) I’d be super grateful!

Also, if explanations could be beginner-friendly, that’d be amazing — I just heard about Blender and Unreal stuff 5 days ago, and English isn’t my first language 😅

And of course... if anyone just happens to have an NSFW mod of Future Foundation Invisible Woman, that would be the ultimate fix. 😂
