The signature bypass is still not so safe, so I don't recommend to install it. Many accounts have been banned. So I suggest you to wait

Since mesh mods now work...

 

Anyone willing to fix a few mods for me? I would try to do it myself, but I do not have enough room on my PC to download UE. :(

 

God knows I have a lot more, but these are the ones I reeeeally want back.

It will never be "safe." There's always the risk of being banned. We're going around NetEase's .sig checks, and even when more automated tools come out, it will still bypass the .sig check.

 

Using mods will always be a risk. So at the end of the day, you either take it, or you don't. :)

Fair enough.

 

That said, if they decide to ban us for using workarounds to apply custom skins that offer no unfair advantage over others, it’ll be a clear indicator that the game doesn't deserve our time playing it.

With mods you can modify almost everything in the game. You can change the size of the hitbox and you can make walls transparent. On nexus and on discord you will never find them, but if you know how to edit objects, you can do it and create an undetectable cheat. And with mods, Netease doesn't get money for skins recolor, so I understand why they try to block them.

i get that its never safe but is there a greater risk now at using them then there was before or if its the same.

I have the same question, also on Nexxus they said they had banned several players for using mods but I haven't seen any comments about anyone being banned, I have the doubt if they have really banned someone here or if they were just exaggerating on Nexxus.

I personally think it's trolling. Someone in the modding community would have said something.

 

At the end of the day, it's the person's choice whether or not to take the risk in using mods. As Napalex stated (I think), the system doesn't differentiate between an actual cheat and a mod; both are essentially done the same way. I enjoy the mods, so I will take the risk. So far it's been 4 days, and no issues. I'm a firm believer in not bringing undue attention to yourself and just playing the game as normal. I feel that's a big step in avoiding undue scrutiny.

I'm not a modder, but I tried converting all my usual mods with repak. These are the ones that worked without crashing. A lot of the textures aren't perfect, but at least it's something until they're officially updated. list-mods-2.0.thumb.PNG.86d53e807f05d56fc28db6242279efce.PNG

Gonna be honest, I used a few of them. :D Sadly, your  barefoot Luna Snow (https://www.nexusmods.com/marvelrivals/mods/2645) no longer works, and I would still love to use the barefoot nude Widow mod you made.

I will update all of them soon, don't worry, I'm just a little busy with personal stuff. In few days they will be updated.

I'm iffy just because this time we added a modified dll in the game to bypass a security check. It's a bit different now.

I know. :) At the end of the day, it's on the individual to risk it or not.

 

I've been playing with mods for 5-6 days now, and so far so good. But who knows?

 

For me, it's worth it. :D
