Which ENB to use?

Thread title says it all.

New to skyrim modding but played a heavily modded oblivion for years.

Which is the "best" ENB out there? I'm not looking for a super realistic one, or a super fantasy one either, preferably one in the middle of these two extremes. Performance isn't an issue, so long as it isn't crazy CPU intensive.

Suggestions?

I don't think that there is a 'best' ENB as it is all down to personal taste though I would recommend one using a newer ENB base. Things that I look for is if the colors are what you want and any custom items like the sunsprite and things like that. If you are going to use Depth of Field or Ambient Occlusion or other effects look for an ENB that has those set up in a way that you like. If you find that any of the effects are too much of a frame rate killer you can always turn them off.

Once you find one that is close to what you want you can always make adjustments. This guide explains what things do: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/39742/?. It helped me when I customized my own.

There are two kinds of presets, the ones that adds a screen of vomit over the game with grains, blurs, vignettes, tints etc, and the ones that improves the visual quality. The best looking enb so far I think is polo enb, but it's very demanding. Real vision is good although too saturated. Bleak/Unbleak comes with two presets, one that turns everything brown and other one that maintains colours, its a good preset with a dark atmosphere and it comes with optional files to disable grain and vignette effect (that comes default with the main presets).

You have in mind, any enb, sweet fx or whatever stuff that injects shaders over your game its gonna hit performance, no matter what and no matter 'magical' presets that you can find on the nexus. Fortunately enb is very configurable and you can choose how much quality/performance youre willing to sacrifice (or your cpu can handle). First things you need to turn off to gain performane is things like ambient occlusion, anti-aliasing, depth of field, etc. Subsurface scattering makes skin look very realistic, but at high cost too.

Realvision is indeed nice, and even the performance version looks great. My only problem with it is that its got a lot of dependencies. Tried out Bleak, but its way too dull for me. Sticking with Somber for awhile now, i dont know why, but i always go back to that. I also liked DH, but its a bit over the top. Would be nice on like 60%, but if you like sick depth of field presets, give it a try.

Opethfeldt enb, has great lightning and amazing weather. It stands in the middle of enbs, isn't saturated, stays true to how light falls on people and items. It seems looking simple but  the work and eye talent being put in that one is simple elegant and beautiful. It aims to be realistic, not very colourful, i think he really hit the right spot. Lighter on performance than 50% of enbs out there too.

Realvision is awsome too, it seems a bit saturated to me, but it's good, lot of support and 3 configs for lighter and 3 configs for more effects (bit heavier)

The friend who advised me for enbs, in Loverslab, loves somber style enbs, take a look on them if you like. But when he told me about Opeth's enb, i never looked back.
