I romanced Morrigan completely, and then beat Awakenings. I talked to Morrigan at the end of Witch Hunt, and tried to go through the Eluvian with her, but the dialogue option "Let me go with you" only gets "I wish that were possible. You cannot know what you ask. I will not allow you to make such a sacrifice". At the end, she says "goodbye, my friend". I was wearing the ring, we talked about our child, I was careful not to pick the wrong dialogue options...I don't know why she refuses to let me go with her. I saw a YouTube vid showing someone going through the Eluvian with Morrigan. I chose every dialogue option I saw the poster choose. I think I've travelled through it before, with an elf, so I know it's possible. Anyone know why I can't go through the mirror? I refuse to play through all of that again to get my blood mage the ending I've been waiting for. I tried the Restoration Patch for dialogue fixes, but it didn't change anything. This sucks! It's the very last sentence before I finally start DA 2 with a blood mage.

Koko.Hekmatyar Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 It could also be the mod itself. If I remember right it was either Equal Love or the Polygamy mod that caused issues with the game this could be one of those moments.

I went through the portal using a female elf, so it's definitely possible. Maybe romancing EVERYONE screwed it up . I broke up with everyone else, though. Man...I really don't want to beat the whole damn thing again! I don't have that kind of free time. Is there a modding tool that lets me set all of these decisions? I could just alter the last outcome. Dammit! It's the last_fuck*ng_sentence! Soooo close. Claudiaaaaaa!! XO

AwfulArchdemon Posted January 4, 2014 Author Posted January 4, 2014 Started a new game. So far, my advice is this: Do not use the Morrigan Restoration Patch with Equal Love. At least, not at the beginning. The conversation you have about her ability to transform into animals...when she says "Indeed? Do you have an opinion, then? Am I an abomination, to be put to the torch?" A male would get the option to say "Maybe tied to a flagpole and tickled...", but that option will never happen in Equal Love, regardless of the MRP. The reason I say don't use MRP with EL is, the scene where she says "I have a thought", and you naturally respond with "Just the one?", she then talks about her Grimoire. If your like me, then you've already gotten it from the Circle Tower in the Circle's main mission. With the Patch (MRP), you get some 'previously missing' dialogue options there...for a female. Without the patch, you can begin the romance (despite missing the opportunity to use the "tied to a flagpole" line) by asking "And what do I get?" That's when she suggests fuckin' (basically). There is no harm in using MRP after you say that! AwfulArchdemon!!

Actually, I haven't had any issues with her, but I haven't used the polygamy mod. I'm not going for her anyway. This is all for Witch Hunt. Just want my blood-mage chick to follow Morrigan into the Eluvian.
AwfulArchdemon Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 No! I don't want much much bigger areas! That was none of my complaints! DAO was very Steampunk. DA2 was more gothic, but not in the right way. They need to keep the steampunk alive in their armor and area art, but make sure they don't get too heavy into pure fantasy. I want to see dragonlings only when I'm in a BOSS area, and I'd like to be surprised by the momma dragon's entrance. Remember how freaked out you got when you saw the HUMONGOUS online dragon in Dragon's Dogma? I want to feel like it's the end of the world when any dragon appears. The dragon from DAA made a pretty cool entrance, but lacked any storyline, besides it's bones being scattered around to prevent it from being animated. Goth existed in DAO, but it was really only apparent at Fort Drakon, when you fought your way to the AwfulArchdemon (see what I did there? ). I'm afraid they'll take "action" too far, like how Saints Row turned out. I don't need the game to be any different from DAO, just a sequel to it, and the contraption they call DA2. I like DA2 a lot, but DAO felt like actual war, instead of playing "GhostbustersTM". More goth and Steampunk!
