The Amazon tribes will retroactively change their relationship to the player colony based on the composition of their colonists. The Amazons are female supremacists and primarily roam the planet looking for male slaves to apprehend. Gradually over time Amazon tribes will attack the player colony if they have a variable number of males present. Several of the settings can now be scaled according the the players difficulty tastes. Goal The goal of the mod was to add a challenging faction to fight that could also act as an ally depending on the players colony composition. My aim was to give the Amazon warriors deadly hybrid weapons when fighting male opponents to portray their cruelty. The Amazon tribes will settle in new locations and conquer rival settlements. Requirements Requires the Harmony mod. Difficulty & Balance The amazon warriors have numerous degenerative weapons which are designed to cause extra damage to males. This mod is not intended to be seriously balanced, suggestions are welcome. Updates 6th August 2025 Compatible with Alpha Genes. Corrected some raiding issues. Added a new race which utilizes Alpha Genes. Corrected compatibility with Rim of Magic thanks to furel for the fix. Fixed compatibility with Vanilla Factions Expanded Empire. Updates 15th November 2024 Amazon settlements have a 30% chance to spread. Amazon tribes will conquer other settlements and capture them. Updates 1.2 4th January 2024 Males present in your colony will aggravate local Amazon tribes. Relations now decay based on the composition of the colony. Numerous new mod settings added for scaling. Amazon tribes are no longer permanently hostile to the player faction. Installation The Amazon tribes will not appear on an existing save game, therefore you will need to start a new game in order for them to appear on the world map. Players who used older versions will need to start a new game in order to benefit from the revised mechanics to relationships. Items The mod adds several new weapons for the Amazon warriors to use against their opponents. Several of the weapons cause amplified damage against male opponents and can deliver neurotoxic agents into their system. Future If people like the mod I may add new weapons, bionics and memes. The mod was influenced by an old Crusader kings 2 mod. I hope to make the Amazon colonies spread eventually but I'm not very experienced with Rimworld modding. The neuro toxin will eventually affect females too, perhaps every successive shot increases their desire to join an Amazonian ideology...? Conflicts The Hermaphrodite gene mod has been reported to cause errors with the mod. Load Order Mid to low load order should be fine. This mod may work in conjunction with vanilla psycasts expanded at a later date, so keep it below the vanilla series of mods. I don't expect you to try to replicate this given my mod list, I just wanted to make you aware that there is likely an issue between the two.

A moment ago I updated it on Steam and here. Added a few new weapons. I renamed Factions_Misc.txt to Factions_Amazon.txt, hopefully that will resolve the problem with VFEE. Can't be certain. Spawning Female Pawns only As of yet, I'm unaware of an effective method to modify the pawn generator to only spawn female pawns in the game. It's a dice roll on gender. I will try and look into it using Harmony to see if its possible... maybe. Ranks I may have gone over board with the awarded ranks and need to tone them down. Amazon Spawns I wanted to maintain a challenge, Amazon male warriors would be penalized and drop their weapons if they were subject to the restrictions, half the opposing army could drop their weapons. Only male player pawns suffer passive damage and are restricted from using Amazon weapons. It's kind of cruel, I know. Future Uploads... kaneeden Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 thank you for the explanation, it would be nice if you would look into the gender distribution as it seems possible looking at the generation from RJW for nymph events for example that only generated females and even has a gender toggle so its xml should have the info you need.Its base.xml also contains stuff for chances like chancefemalegenitals which should also result in a gender if not used with futa mods in most cases right? But not sure if that would need rjw as a dependency which would not be practical for your steam version. Thank you for your time and effort 🤗

Feel free to add it to the main file if you wish. Also, my colony is about 90% female, but the Amazon faction is completely hostile. Is this how it should work? There is an option ingame ->modoptions->amazons->boundaries= number of males below or equal faction rep ticks up by amount defined in relations at interval (i changed it to 24h or it keeps pestering you every few seconds on fast speeds) , number of males above equals faction rep goes down so its not a percentage value (i also think it would be more fitting to have like 10% possible)

They can attack with 30 guys, but if I have 2 men among 25 women, I become their worst enemy.
jjskywalker Posted May 21, 2025 Posted May 21, 2025 The "Rimsential Total Control" mod allows you to set specific guidelines for any faction including these Amazons. If you set them to only spawn female it will do so.

Are the male pawns tied thematically into the mod somehow, like for example are they assigned collars maybe?
