Bastak21 Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 I have installed an performance friendly enb and all water edges became sharp like the one in screenshot. Anyway I can fix this without unistalling enb?
Kastagir Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 It depends on the ENB you're using. ENB's water settings can be performance-heavy and if they are disabled then they would need to be enabled to tweak this effect at which point it would no longer be performance-friendly. You would need to provide more information such as which ENB you're using and your current enbseries.ini.

I thought we could adjust this from enb settings but since enb has dozens of options I don't know which one to turn on or off. I have tried some options under the water title but none worked. btw I dont care if it doesnt be performance friendly anymore that water looks terrible I'd like to fix it without uninstalling enb. Kastagir Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 What does it look like with the ENB disabled? If it still looks like that then it's not the ENB but your water mod.
belegost Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 I would like to know which part of Skyrim province has sandy beaches and palm trees. I want to move there.
Grey Cloud Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 A lot of required and recommended mods for an ENB preset that's not been updated for nine years. Requirements (mod list) in load & install order: This mod was done to go along the following mods. Sure, it works even without these, but may look very different, odd colours etc. if you don’t have the following mods: - Skyrim particle patch (ALL-IN-ONE) and subsurface scattering patch: http://enbseries.enbdev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1499 - ELFX http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27043/ (install with elfxenhancer, but don't install elfx-weathers. If you use Static mesh improvement mod, install also: ELFX SMIM patch http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60603/ ) - Remove interior fog: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29253/ - Revamped exterior fog: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9930/ Highly recommended: - Wearable lanterns (!) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17416/ and its plugins made by other authors. - True storms http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63478/ - Realistic water two http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41076/

It doesn't look as bad as yours but still pretty bad. You really need to test this in a vanilla location. You say you have no water mod installed but the mod page strongly recommends Realistic Water Two. I use that mod and I'm not uninstalling it to test a 9 year old ENB preset but I do have some suggestions for you. This ENB preset recommends ENB binaries version 0.290 which are over 9 years old. Many new features have been added across several categories, including the WATER category. ENB development is not backward-compatible for abandoned presets. Testing on current binaries (0.479 for LE) I still have sharp edges at the shoreline but not like yours. Disabling the water category greatly improves the appearance. If you don't want to do that you can improve it to a lesser degree by increasing Caustics or WetMultiplier under the Water category. I can't advise you on values since the result looks so different. Just play with it and decide for yourself. Either way, you should try installing the recommended water mod. WATER on in ENB: WATER off in ENB: Edited October 30, 2024 by Kastagir
Grey Cloud Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 What does the regular Skyrim shoreline look like?
